Bust-A-Move 3 as with it's prequel was converted from the arcade unit. The main game is practically the same as the previous games but with a few noticeable upgrades, some stages now have the bubbles attached to nodes rather than just to the top of the play area allowing for a lot more variety. There is a selection of Bust-A-Move 2 stages included as well as the ability to select your character in versus mode, each of which having a different set of bubbles they'll use on the opponents screen.

One day... Bubble World's magical master of mischief, DUNK, cast a mysterious spell. And with a sudden flash of light, eight characters from eight other game worlds found themselves suddenly transported to Bubble World. It's up to you to send them home!!!
