Long Lost Game Boy Color RPG ‘Infinity’ Nears Official Release

Infinity-RPG-Game-Boy-ColorWhile the Game Boy Color may not have as many memorable titles as it's predecessor, a groundbreaking release for Nintendo’s vibrant portable is imminent. Affinix Software recently revealed that their missing in action RPG Infinity, which was originally due for release in 2001, is nearing completion.

With the Game Boy Advance distracting publishers upon its arrival, Affinix Software unfortunately found themselves unable to secure a deal to put their game onto cartridge. Following this news the team behind the promising RPG disbanded, leaving just a trace of what could have been on their official website. As a result Infinity appeared to disappear to the depths of time, at least until now.

Completely out of the blue Affinix Software has unveiled an all new trailer for their long lost adventure. Featuring absolutely stunning graphics by Game Boy Color standards, what appears to be an interestingly complex battle system, and a much loved story-heavy quest to tackle, Infinity appears to be back on track.

While it's unlikely the game will see a physical release on cartridge, Affinix Software have stated that Infinity will most likely be made available to download instead. No date has been set other than 2016,so in the meantime feast your eyes on what could be one of the best looking portable RPGs around.
