Picked up Punch Out on Wii from Tesco and downloaded Cave Story from WiiWare. Both are excellent in that retro way. Punch Out feels much more of a rhythm action/puzzle game than a sports/boxing game.

I've heard that it's supposed to be a really good game, unfortunately since bringing it home I seem to have misplaced it somewhere in the house.

Just got a load of PS3 games through the door from Amazon. Most people just give me Amazon vouchers for christmas nowadays, so I wait 'til the January sales start and then buy a load of games :). This year I bagged: Kane & Lynch 2 LE, Alien Vs Predator, Lost Planet 2, Vanquish, Fallout 3 GOTY Edition and Wolfenstein. I paid around £10 each for them, bargain!

Now the sales have died down, it's actually possible to buy stuff at my local game shop withoput queueing for half a century, so I picked up Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard (360) for a fiver (I've wanted to play it for a while) and Luminous Arc 2 (DS) for £13 which came with a soundtrack CD and outer cardboard box (thought I'd take a chance on it).

I bought Blur on the 360 there the other day because I seen it for cheap. It's a really fun racer and I'm quite enjoying it at the moment :)

I bought it while still in Alpha, so it may not be "lately"; but I figured it deserved a mention

I've been playing it way too much, to be honest; right now I'm waiting for "true" mod-support, as I almost always mod my PC-games

I've been using a wide variety of mods already, but since Notch keep updating the game so frequently I need to update my mods along

I figured it was best to buy it in Alpha, so that I'd get all future versions for free =)

the endless possibilites will keep this game running long after it's due ^^
