Most unusual items in your retro game collection?

Thought we should have a thread started for unusual items in your collection.

Over the years I've accumulated all sorts of gaming goodies, however these are some of my favourites:



I found this sports top at a car boot sale, the seller went on to tell me how she used to work as a Sega PR rep and had loads of goodies like this over the years.



I bought off a friend in America this vinyl banner around a meter wide which was hung up for release of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 back in 1992. This is his picture, so not my room

While it probably holds little value, it's a fantastic piece of history I'm proud to own!

What do you guys own of unusual nature then?

i found in oxfam a very camp pink trimmed official nintendo gameboy bumbag. no where near as cool as the official leather sega one i had as a kid

My ex, ex girlfriend found this randomly on eBay and bought it for me as part of a birthday present (which included a Dreamcast...christ I miss her....the Dreamcast that is).

Anyway correct me if I'm wrong as I have no solid info on this but I believe this was handed out to Tectoy employees in brazil after a deal with Sega was signed over something. It's an official pin, never seen one like it before though.

Pretty unusual. IMO.

and it`s design is perfect for use with the megadrive/-cd - if only twice a year. go play robocop vs. terminator with it! [

i bought one of these things the other week at a car boot for £2, not got round to road testing it yet, but looks very pointless and great at the same time

you got all the cables and the sound is quite bad, but you will look really cool wearing it!

I had one of these when I was younger. Ended up chucking it in a bin after a CEX wouldn't take it and I didn't want to carry it around London with me lol

The most unusual thing in my game collection would have to be my demon attack controller for my Atari 2600.

A Game Boy game in a tin!? You bet! From what I'm aware of there are a few other Game Boy Tin games other than Pocket Bomberman, but without a quick Google I couldn't say what they are.

Given away as a competition prize by sega and sonic the comic, I'm dying to wear this one out at some point :p just not around bracknell as I'll probably get stabbed.

Another unusual piece is my dreamcast kareoke system.


Only really got this due to the cover art. The device is sadly unusable as all the songs were downloaded online only hopefully some techno peeps can home brew out some tracks though

No photos as I am at work, but I am a fan of my Limited Final Fantasy 1 Wonderswan Colour.

Its really quite pretty but super Japanese. So I cant even play the bloody thing.

On the newer side, I won a competition for a super limited Marcus Fenix statue from Game. Was a good day.

I have a sealed Atari Videoplexer but no Atari 2600 to hook it up to

I have a framed Haunting Ground (PS2) poster as well as five framed pictures which I commissioned of the game's characters. Although 4 of the images were computer aided art and so aren't 'unique', one is an oil painting, wish to god the painter was still available as I'd commission more work from him!

Oh wow, that is fantastic. Might possibly be the start of a mini collection for me very soon, i found some more information on them and they don't seem too bad price wise.

My unusual item is also Gameboy related!



Only arrived this week to bring up the GBP total to 17 (i think), ANA is a Japanese airline and these were sold on the flights i think. Pretty odd piece of merchandise and a real shame they never released this color without the branding! However they most have been a success or someone high up in the company loved gameboys as they followed it up with a ANA branded gameboy color!
