I'm playing Koudelka (the combat is making me sleepy), Azure Dreams (only reached level 25 on the tower, with 8 hours) and Final Fantasy 7, 15 hours, on the Whirlwind Maze area.

as an old fan of the original Zelda game, I acquired this game merely a year ago, or so and must admit that I fell in love with it immediately

it feels like LoZ, but with more "immersion", mainly due to the ruined villages and the NPC's

also being able to use the axe to chop down trees is simply brilliant

the save-functionality is based on you finding a location to save, which is a feature that I have always preferred regardless of genre of game and this makes me like the game even more

the lack of a "select/start" -button can sometimes be a bit frustrating, in that the game only has one button available for actions, but apart from that I haven't found anything with this game that I don't love

if you look past the fact that it is a blatant LoZ rip-off and enjoy it on it's own merits, then I am certain that you will find this game to be a true little gem in the Master System library - I am very sad that they didn't expand this particular branch of the Golden Axe franchise further, since I think there's potential to add some new features, especially if used with a MegaDrive controller, alas....

Impressive. I end up getting too frustrated with the first level to even continue

Still cracking on with Final Fantasy VII over here, getting close the end of disc 2 now.

Just completed Jumping Flash on the PS1. Well I say completed, it gave me the "oh you haven't defeated me yet!" ending meaning I have to do the game again. Umm nah. If developers are too lazy to add more levels or make the difficulty curve harder in the first place then dont go copping out with replays. Replay should be a choice not mandatory.

Now there's a game that needs mastering to finish it :D! I used to always run out of time when I was a kid, I eventually finished it but it wasn't easy!

I'm currently playing X-Men 2 Clone Wars on Mega Drive, what a stunning game! I'm currently getting my ass kicked in the last zone, thought I'd beaten the last boss after what felt like my millionth attempt the other night only to be met with a nasty surprise !

Also playing Lion King on Master System, TBH I'm not really enjoying it all that much and I keep getting battered by a big ass monkey! Better than some of the crud I've played in the last few months though.

Ooh, nearly forgot one, Although not technically retro, I'm kinda hooked on Super Street Fighter Turbo 2 HD Remix on PS3, being able to play a classic game online with mates is one of the modern wonders of the world
My Trade Feedback Thread

Currently Playing: Urban Strike (MD), Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (PS2), Donkey Kong (GB)
Last Game Completed: James Bond 007: The Duel (SMS)

Il have to get my Dreamcast out at some point, from what I remeber I never got anywhere on ecco, just remember the graphics being amazing. Hope they haven't aged too badly!

Just finished GTA London on ps1 and it was pretty rubbish. In the issue of lack of memory in the game there was zero pressure of the non existant police so it made the whole thing a bit pointless really.

These days I do not get a lot of time for gaming but I am playing The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX on Gameboy Advance SP. It's so much better to concentrate on a handheld with a back light!!

Loving every moment of it and just beaten Level 4 sometime ago. Flippers! Heck yeah! :)

Well, I finally finished Final Fantasy VII and just about everything it had to offer. I had four characters at level 99, beat every weapon, had two gold chocobos, mastered a wealth of materia... Sadly the game has nothing left for me now.

I'm kinda glad Ruby & Emerald weapon still pose a threat at level 99 as at that level you can slice through Sephiroth like butter.

Also finished the fan translation of Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (カエルの為に鐘は鳴る, aka "For the Frog the Bell Tolls") on the Game Boy via emulation.

Now I need to decide what to play next!

Just finished The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of time for the 3DS. That will be the 4th time I have completed that game, I think?
I'm still as fond of it as I was during my first playthrough. What a masterpiece!

Waiting for Uni to go on holiday this Friday so I can spend a week playing the crap out of Persona 3 FES. I have heard so many good things about it, I can't wait to start!
