I'd have to agree about Sunshine being a disappointment. It wasn't a bad game, but it seemed to forget what made its predecessor, Super Mario 64, such a phenomenon. The great thing about Super Mario 64 was that, of 120 available stars, you only needed 70 to get to the end boss. Additionally, most stars could be obtained out of sequence, so if getting one star was giving you trouble, you could take a breather and try a different star or a different level, then come back to the troublesome ones later. Sunshine required you to have a 70% clearance rate in each level, which meant that it you found trying to fire a cannon from a moving rollercoaster disorienting then too bad. Bowser was a cake walk compared to maintaining equilibrium in the MechaBowser fight.
Oh, and I love SMBUSA even if it is a reskin of Doki Doki Panic.
