Nice buy Barney, I'm a bit surprised by how much you paid for it though, I thought you were the kind of collector who would wait it out for a cheap one :)

I picked up Sonic Spinball, Batman Returns and Panic on Funkotron for £3 on eBay because the seller didnt list conditions or if they had manuals.

Turns out they all did and were mint, so a good score all in all

I've been hunting for a cheap one for about 5 years and I've only seen about 5 copies, so I was starting to get impatient! It was pretty expensive for me, but I reckon in auction it would have fetched double that price.

It's been a while since I posted any finds, so here is what I've picked up recently.

Image

Bomb Jack (Amiga) came from the awesome RetroCollectee arma_dillo2009.

My best purchase from the last few weeks, however, is this duo:

Image

R.I.P. Bad Influence! Like Games Master, the TV show attempted their own magazine series but it only lasted two issues. The saddest thing for Bad Influence for me though is that the show was filmed just a few miles from where I live, yet as a small child I had no idea.

Loved Bad Influence and Games Master back in the day, managed to source the majority of the former and all of the later a year or two back and it's a great nostalgia trip :) Really interesting the way gaming tech developed over those short years and Dominik Diamond's jokes are still hilarious now I reckon..."pants"

Also sourced a few episodes of Bits, which also had its entertaining moments. Vividly remember heading to Glasgow one day and being in George Square when they did a segment about the PS2 release, thinking the girls were rather shorter than I'd expected

Bought these 2. Already had them as loose cartridges but I am slowly trying to replace all my loose cartridges with boxed games.
