Desert island game.

You've been trapped on a desert island by (insert your arch enermy) . You've got endless food supplies etc etc
and a portal that allows you to play any game from any console. You get one request for a game and multigame carts/discs are banned and no internet access. Other loop holes are also banned.... ;)

What do you request?

I'll need to get back to you on mine...

I'm thinking it would have to be Fallout New Vegas. At least then I'd go back and try different styles of game.
Currently I always play the good guy and horde weapons.

Yep, a Football Manager game would probably be my choice too - unlimited hours of entertainment. I've always felt that if I could only ever have one game, it would be a Footy manager sim.

Footy manager sim is an inspired choice! Im going to go for Treasure Island Dizzy - the irony of being stuck on an island playing a character who is stuck on an island. That and the game is class.

In the absence of any version of the boardgame RISK having decent AI, I think I'd go for Final Fantasy 7. If I had a lot of time spare, I'd quite to embark on a 'hit level 99 before you leave the reactor' challenge. Other challenges such as the Master Materia challenges can take months. Then there's collecting all of the limit breaks and ultimate weapons (including Aeris'). Yup FF7 for me.

Resident Evil 5. I've done that game so many times and I still love it.

Dwarf Fortress

I'd prefer it to be in a 1.0 state, but in it's current alpha-form will suffice

Oh, I would definitely have to say Chrono Trigger. I love that game to bits, I love everything about it and there's so many different endings so plenty of reasons to replay it.

Must admit I'm starting to think this could be the best answer...
I reckon it'd drive you insane though. Especially once that's all you dream about.... Hate it when that happens.

Oh god, im not sure.

Maybe Final Fantasy 9, there was so much in that game I didnt really do.

I might be tempted to say Minecraft, hours of fun could be had in that game.

Resident Evil 4, I can count on one hand the number of games I'd want to play again while they're still fresh in my memory, but RE4 is one I could play through then play through again. Everything about it, the goofy bad guys, the enemies, the shop system (love RPG mechanics in action games and shop/item creation systems in games like this), finding more weapons, trying to stop Ashley from getting attacked.

Yeah.

Crap can i change my answer? Sim City - any version really.. Though probably the one on the SNES due to its cheeriness. Id play it properly also - none of that spend cash/ tax raise cheat thing going on.

Come to think of it, I played 7 and 8 to death but also didn't get stuck in to 9. One day I'd like to do the moogle quest and chocobo hot/colds a bit more.

Then there's the speed run attempt for the excalibur that I've considered going for before but kept putting it off...

I'd go with "Disgaea". There's untold hours to have leveling up...everything.
