Snes intro screen graphic issue

Postby ehndo1 » Wed Jul 04, 2012 6:26 pm

Ok so i have a problem with my snes. Last year it wasnt doing this. My games work fine when i play with them but on some of them (not a lot) there is some graphic issue in the intro screens. I just made a video to show you the problem so take a look and help me with this please. Even if i can play my games perfectly i find this annoying.

Sorry for my quebec english accent lolll its not my primary language :p

Wierd :o black bars i thought you wasnt supposed to see that similer too if you record the tv with a camcorder you're camera picks it up
I don't think its the snes console or games itself have you tried using an alternate tv and different AV cables might output the screen better also do you have another snes console to start doing debugging work incase off the unlikely chance its that :)

I just tested out my other games and here the result. Mario kart is really messed up and dragon lair there is supposed to have a big castle on the picture but there's nothing. for now my only unplayable game is mario kart.

Seriously dude, wtf with the vertical video, just....don't

I'd open the SNES and check for bad caps it sounds as it something's on it's way out. That's not the kind of problem you get just from having a dodgy SCART lead. Try another PSU if you've one handy but I doubt it.
