Awesome achievement :) I'll merge this with the "2012 Milestone" thread though as that's exactly what the thread is for ;)

One of the longest running collections I have had going has come to an end today. 16 years+ in the making, but finally FATAL FURY SPECIAL has been added to my Mega CD collection to complete the full PAL set. One of my collection milestones at the start of the year was to get the remaining three games I needed and I'm so glad that this set is now complete.

Due to the time it has taken me to complete the set, I cannot put a figure on what it has cost to do, but as I have bought and sold many duplicate Mega CD games over the last 15 years, I wouldn't be suprised if I'm in profit still, despite these last 3 actually requiring me to cough up a little bit of cash to get them. Nearly all of them were found at car boots for £1/£2 and many of them several times over, so I've been able to put together excellent examples of each for the collection from finding multiple copies. I've found Snatcher a grand total of 4 times over the years at car boots, for example, with the money made on selling the duplicates reimbursing my expenditure and profits financing other games I needed.

Of course 300 PC-Engine games does count. I crossed a semi-milestone today, 50% towards the CIB Game Boy Color set with the arrival of VIP, Sabrina Zapped and Rocket Power Gettin Air, :) Only 232 to go then

Also crossed 100 Mega Drive games  Well, what can I say, always been more about Nintendo ;)

Happy to oblige - The Smurfs Travel the World arrived in the post today. It's 100% for Master System too to complete a memorable collecting week for me.

Awesome!! :)

I've got 7 DC games to pick up from a friend then that officially takes me over the 50% mark for the full set, thats a milestone for me as its the largest collection I've had for a single system :)
