anyone know if Aussie DS games have a thicker white case (like Euro) or the darker thinner case (like US)?

not sure but if you find a picture of Crystal Miner you will see, since that is AUS exclusive

if it is Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol it was released in EU as far as i know, Starfy i have only seen US and AUS version of so far, so not sure about that, but i guess hydr0x is more updated on DS games then the most of us

*edit* just read that Chibi-Robo was cancelled in the EU, so only US, AUS and JPN release on that

Uhm, no, they don't, they have the thinner black/grey cases. Chibi-Robo and Starfy are indeed Australian exclusives within "PAL-Land", as is Crystal Mines which I'm still tempted to grab. Got the other two in the collection.

When it comes to DS collecting there's no way around US cases anyways as there are, depending on your tastes, a few dozen must-have or very interesting US-only releases.

A quick question to fellow DS collectors out there.

Does anyone know the reason why some ds boxes (even new ones) have a vertical slit (when it is laid flat) going through the outer casing of the box on the middle of the spine?

I've noticed this a few times before.

**edit** just like to squeeze in another DS question. Anyone know if the German or French versions of So Blonde have an in game English language option? I love me point n clicks and t'would be a shame to buy this one just to shelve it.

Simply because the person who opened the cardboard shipping box containing the games did it with a sharp knife and didn't slice carefully. You'll notice the same thing on 360, Wii, Ps3 games too.

Ha, yeah! Most of the DS Spidey games have been pretty good so I might get this one too.

Some of my latest DS additions, 3 of them are pretty rare to get nowdays especially new & sealed they cost a premium thanks to their single low print run. Kumatanchi, Space invaders extreme 2 & Hoshizora navi were the hardest & most expensive to get hold of.
