whats a NES miracle piano / keyboard fully boxed worth

Postby UltraMagnus » Sun May 20, 2012 5:40 pm

Its fully boxed with all the extras, instructions, and manuals. It has the NES cartridge and the box is the original Nintendo version with the Nintendo seal of quality on it. Its the PAL version with the multiple languages on the box.

Anyone know how much its worth.

And it also still has the sustain pedal and earphones and connections to hhok up to a stereo.

Not sure, as I am thinking about buying it off someone who has one. Whats the difference?

PAL-A is UK and one other country, Italy or something like that, and PAL-B is rest of Europe, PAL-A doesnt work on a PAL-B system unless it's modded so it's region free, controllers and such is region free i think, but not the carts

Picked it up today.

Box is a bit rough at one end and part of the polystyrene insert has snapped off.

It looks like it is PAL - A and it has the miracle connector, foot pedal, manuals, cartridge, and overlay for the keyboard.

I dont actually collect for the NES all that much TBH, so I am probably going to look at either selling or trading it.

I am not sure my self BUT if you picked one up for £50 then i don't think they are worth that much more, as one was just sold on ebay 3 days ago for £53.
So going by the fact you picked one up for £50 and one was just sold of £53. i would say around £50-£80.

This is just my guess and i might be wrong, i am just going by what they have been sold for recently.

just an update.

I got several offers, some cash, some trade, and some a mixture of both.

I ended up taking £100 for it plus boxed PAL copies of UN Squadron, Super Probotector, Buster busts loose for the Snes, some loose Hu-cards, handfull of PS1 games, and blastcorps, boxed for the N64

I thought it was a bit much, but he was adamant he wanted it.

.....apologies for resurrecting an old thread.....

I have a question for you Miracle Piano experts.

I paid £180 for a Miracle Piano yesterday. It's the PAL UK version. I'm not debating the value of the item as it seems to range from the points above, between £50 - £200. For what I was specifically looking for, it had to be complete, PAL and in decent condition, therefore I'm happy enough with the price.

The question that I have is, for the PAL A NES version, was it commonly offered with the Amiga package?

Also, I can only see part of the bottom right corner on the front of the box in the picture so therefore can't see what's on there. I have seen these pianos before with 'Mac' on them before, signifying that they were the MAC versions. Does this look like it's one of those (and therefore someone's done a Frankenstein with it over the years - box from one proposition, bits and pieces from another...)

Is that same gold/black logo which is peeping over, a sticker or something printed on the box?

I guess I should've asked the seller before I bid on the item, but I fully accept it's down to me to ask - just interested in what you peeps think. Does the corner of that logo peeping over the poly inserts look familar? I've noticed that the logo is not present on the German versions.

Either way - really looking forward to receiving the item....

It looks ok to me, mine looked exactly the same.

Mine did not come with the discs ( the 3.5 floppy )

Only concern I have is the cable, one of the ends should have a NES connector and the one you can see does not. Hopefully thats the Amiga one and the NES one is in the plastic bag next to it.

I am not an expert but that little logo on the bottom right on mine was the Nintendo seal of approval and it looks like that might be as well. If the cable is in the bag then it looks complete for the NES version. It looks like someone has just added the Amiga and disc and cable. I am pretty suer the pianos themselves werre just generic and the same for every version.

Also on the front of the box it has some french writing underneath the English which is not present on mac, amiga, and PC versions if I recall.

o it does look like a genuine NES box and everything else seems to be there. dont know where the amig stuff came from though. Likely that someone picked it up as once you have the piano and accessories all you need is the software and cable to play on other formats.

tHaving a closer look and that logo is all gold, and the Nintendo sela is usually gold and white so I am not sure what it is. I no longer have mine but I am sure there was some sort of Nintendo thing there to signify it was the NES version.
