What are the best games for testing out controllers?

I am a small time dealer in retro games (and toys too) and am wondering what are the best titles for checking controllers to make sure they work good?

The test game would have to be cheap, easy to play, and one that uses all functions of the controller without having to go far into the game, for example Super Mario Bros isn't that great of a game because it doesn't use the up button much.

Controllers I want to test include:
NES - so far I like Othello the best for testing controllers
SNES
N64 - so far I like Goldeneye the best (but it is hard to hold onto a $15 game)
Gamecube
Genesis
Dreamcast
PS1
Xbox
(and other systems as I get them)

PS - I am not just a dealer, I have my own small collection of games I won't sell that includes Micro Machines franchise games and Twisted Metal style games.

Football games can be good too, especially as generally they are worth little too so ideal for testing.

SNES - Starfox. Every button can be tested on the main screen before the game starts (both shoulder buttons, all 4 coloured buttons, the D-Pad, Select button and Start button all have provide visual response when pressed on the screen) and all can be tested on this screen, you don't even need to start the game to see whether each button works or not. I keep a Starfox cart by my SNES specifically for this reason when I acquire a pad to test.

The SuperUFO for the SNES also contains a controller test. I requested that Artemio put a controller test in the 240p test suite for Megadrive and Dreamcast and he seemed pretty open to the idea.

Dr Robotnik's Bean Machine for MD / Genesis has a controller test on the options menu.

I'm an avid emulation fan, therefore I have plenty of USB adaptors that allow me to play emulated games on the PC using the original controllers for that system.
I just have to go to Control Panel > Game Controllers > Properties and can test every button in an instance!
