I still need one of those steelbooks, but they never seem to be going for what I consider a resonable price (around £20).

Love the Jap covers btw. As I mentioned previously I'll probably concentrate on getting games with awesome boxart next. Basically any of the Jap releases. :)

so yeah, two ps3 promos for sonic generations, the steelbook case :) and im making a start on getting the jap game gear games now, as the uk versions are pretty difficult to latch onto. the box art makes up for this fact however!

the pc collection and controller came courtousy of JoeMD thanks for the trade!

The R/C Racher looks awesome! Is the steelbook of Sonic Generations? I don't think I've seen that before.

Glad you like the PC Collection and the controller, I'm happy to help fellow Sonic fans get stuff they are after.

Speaking of the PC Collection, as far as I know it's only been released in Australia and ou can get it for $30AU from a store here called Big W. I don't think they ship overseas though. If anyone is after one and isn't in Australia I'm happy to help you get one, just PM me. :D

Well the steel book is non descript and just says sonic the hedgehog on it, although on the back it does have the 20th anniversary logo. I'll be using it to represent my xbla download of sonic 1 :)

The steel book was from eBay, cost me £30 Ish which is fine as it came with one of the ps3 promos.

But yeah on a seperate note I thought it would be fun to design and print some of my own labels for my downloaded titles as a means to show them as part of my collection. Has anyone does this before? Would be good to compare quality and designs.

New additions to my collection;

A toy set based on characters from Sonic & Sega All Star Racing, several of these are exclusive to the set.

(If you'd like to see more detailed image of the characters, you can do so in my Collection gallery).

And a very cool Sonic sneaker key ring.

I have a few Sonic bits and pieces scattered around the house. I don't believe I have many pictures of them though. I'll see if I can take a few over the next few days.

I loved Sonic The Hedgehog since I was 9. I had 3 years to get most of the games and I did. I got alot of Sonic merchandise as well. :)

You'll have to share some photos. I'm currently trying to hunt down a boxed copy of Sonic & Knucles (PAL). I know it'll be hard given that the box for the game was cardboard, but there is also a Platinum version out there that has a 'regulatr' MD case. All the copes I've found on eBay so far are US though. Having said that, however, I do have a Game Genie so I might be able to get around the region lock that way.

It's pretty difficult getting a Sonic and Knuckles with a non-chewed box. You're probably looking to pay between about £15 - £20 for one with a decent box unless you get lucky. :)

Last weekend was the Supanova convention in Sydney, one of Australia's biggest pop-culture conventions. I got a few Sonic items of which I'll post pictures later on. But I also got to meet a very special hero of mine ;

Thanks guys, I'm really stoked about it myself. Never thought I would ever get my hands on one, but karma did shine upon me :D

I've also found it sometimes problematic to find a S&K with the lid thingie still intact. I got it eventually tho :)
