best way to break up this collection

Postby buster_broon » Wed May 16, 2012 11:07 am

My first post - didn't know this site existed until i was pointed this way

Anyway about to get divorce and need to break up my collection so i can hit the settlement figure my ex wants

i do intend to go live with the sale on the 1st of June - but kinda hoping that a benefactor or VGI comes in and takes a goo chunk of it in one go rather than 2000+ individual parcels

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B3H5yB ... DBLRWJmOGc

this to view the files you need to have some sort of google account, seems some can view and some cant

if people who cant see it online and want to see it i will be more than happy to email them the zip'd folder

thanks again

Did the ex contribute to your collection ? If not tell her to bugger off and let a mate store it for you so she carnt get her hands on it ! :D

As the story goes , you would make more if you seperate rather than someone taking all of it. Some nice bits you have and if possible, I'd keep at least one of your systems and games as it'll give you something to do when your sat at home alone.

Anyway, all the best either way :)

Bad times Mr B :| You should send me back the stuff I sold you ( I miss our feedback sessions!), but on a serious note see what Lee or maybe another trader can offer you? Or you are going to spend forever at the post office.

Hope things work out for you bud, if you need a smile just grab a magnifying glass & read below ;)
I thought I was seriously into MC Hammer till I bumped into Buster B at a rave the other weekend, Anyway.... this is were he caught me unaware and sold me some small discs which wont play on my Ghetto blaster?
A little vexxed I tried them on my GC & they work fine? I should have known they were'nt from the 90's as they looked brand new!
Still there's always the disco, can bust some bad moves me and of course the J master but only when he has his magic shoes on 8)
"Dooo do do do doo do doo do U can touch this"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mr J yet again sent me some legit merchandise of gaming greatness at some stupidly low prices!
All good yes, but I couldn't help to feel some things are too good to be true?
So I sent myself disguised as a Paypal payment to investigate, and this is what I un-turfed on BB aka Big J.
Upon arriving at the scene, the 1st thing I noticed was the sheer scale of Big J's dreadlocks Im tellin' ya they were MASSIVE! Almost like tree trunks, with some very pretty pink and lime beads.
Secondly it was very hard to see through the smoke so he was either having a bonfire, or his house was on fire, either way he was very calm, polite, and kept me up to date on what was what, whilst seeming at one with the world.
Unfortunately after a few seconds the volume & lyrical content of the Milli Vanilli tracks blaring throughout the venue was too much and I understandably passed out and was returned the very next day by 1st class recorded. I'm not certain of what happened whilst I was unconscious but, I seem a lot better now.

May she is being pretty good about stuff and only need to sell to get the settlement she wants

As soon as I hit the mark I might stop and keep the rest but by then I fear all the good stuff will be gone

But means I can keep the pension and stuff so it's worth it - as usual gamers regret will kick in and I'm sure I will buy a chunk of it back lol
