Just some Nintendo stuff from the past week or so.

Metroid and Cursed Mountain were £3 apiece from a charity shop, Muramasa was a tenner in HMV, Fragile Dreams came new from Play and Kingdom Hearts was new in Tesco for £12.

Stopped off at the White Rose (Leeds) on my way back home today. Decided to check in to Game to use up some more of my credit. I was surprised at how many decent games I managed to find.

Anyways, ramping up on my DS collecting now....

Not had a go of it yet, but I'm hoping to have a crack at it this weekend. I hear good things about it and I have fond memories of the Funhouse machine so I'm dying to give it a whirl.

A few modern pickups over the last month or so

Viewtiful Joe is fantastic and I'm thoroughly enjoying Okamiden. Shinobi is great fun too. I was also quite surprised at how fun SSX is, although short and I'm not really a fan of the multiplayer, but it works well. Duke Nukem is pants.

Looks like a few of us have picked up Okamiden recently - I thought I'd join the club as well :D

I went to Morrisons after work today to see if if there were any budget Nintendo points but it looks like it was a regional thing only. Gunstar, you lucky so and so! :)

All was not a loss though. I managed to pick up some shower gel for a quid, loads of teabags for £2 and best of all, Asura's Wrath for £17. I've been wanting to give this a go for a while but I didn't fancy the £39 proce tag that it's been at for some time now. Bonus!

It's The World Ends With You. Can be difficult to get hold of these days. It seems to have a decent fanbase but I found it to be a bit too stylised. I may try and give it another go....

My brother works for Blizzard, which means I get occasional free goodies. Like this, which turned up via courier the other day:

:D

Only been waiting for this game since 2001...

A few more DS games for the collection - shaping up nicely now.

Was really surprised to see Apollo Justice for £8 at HMV (as opposed to £39.99). That's another sensibly priced used title that I've seen at HMV bringing the grand total to 5.

Got a few Wii games this week. Picked up Mr Bean's Wii game thing from cash converters for £7. Wouldn't be my first choice but CEX are selling the things for £18 so there must be some demand for them, so got it while it was there. Got a couple of Avatar games from CEX for £3 a piece (Avatar as in the bald-headed kid with the arrow tattoo, not the blue people).

Also picked up Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for £13 from Grainger (the orangeness, it burns). For some weird reason I keep forgetting about 'real' games that are Wii exclusives. I can just about juggle 170 Xbox games in my head and buy different ones for the collection, despite having played all of 10 of them, yet can't remember a handful of Wii games which I'm equally interested in picking up. Anyways, got SH and picked up Case Closed and Sakura Wars a few weeks ago, so one less to double in price further down the line.

Received a German/Italian import of Dokapon Kingdom for the Wii today. Yet another Wii game I'd totally forgot about, was only reminded of it because of GregPandemic's sale thread (sorry Greg, feels a bit crap picking up info when you've had to sell off lots of your games). I'd rather have had a UK copy but it there doesn't seem to be any around and it's doubtful that's going to change, so anything I can play is a good thing, only £18 new as well so I'm happy.
