Playing Witcher 2. I see it as Skyrim meets Fable. Amazing game so far - even if some bits are tough!

I started Dead Island on the PS3 last week, pretty cool game! I reckon playing in one player would get old fast, but I'm playing co-op with a very funny guy I know from Youtube and it's a proper blast. What's more fun than decapitating a zombie after all!
My Trade Feedback Thread

Currently Playing: Urban Strike (MD), Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (PS2), Donkey Kong (GB)
Last Game Completed: James Bond 007: The Duel (SMS)

Trials Evolution (XBox 360 LIVE Arcade). Even better than the fantastic Trials HD.

Haven't played all of it, but Shadow of the Damned is pretty awesome.

Recently I've been playing my Tomb Raider HD Trilogy on PS3. Nearly got all the trophies on Legend! Totally gonna be my first platinum :)

Bought MLB12 The Show for PSVita.
If you like baseball you have to play this or even better the PS3 version.
The problem is that is so difficult! It really punishes you if you don't practice a lot, especially the batting section.

I'm also playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, but i think everybody knows that

Game: The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 1
Platform: PSN

I tried out the demo and really liked it (I'm turning into a big Teltale fanboy) currently about 1hr into the episode

Game: The Tales Of Monkey Island Season 1 Episode 1
Platform: PSN

Having owned the limited edtion box set for PC/MAC for quite a while and not even opened it (Just want it to go with my Point & Click Adventure game collection). I decided to buy the whole season for PSN! Currently I've nearly finished Episode 1, but really enjoying it :)

I'm looking to get Walking Dead at some point, I loved the show and the game looks pretty cool. How's the first episode hold up?

I'm currently playing:

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (X360)
Has a few rough edges but nonetheless a solid and highly enjoyable action-RPG. It reminds me a lot of some Euro-RPGs (lesser-known games such as Venetica evoke the strongest sense of deja vu) mixed in with combo-based combat and a highly stylised art style. It's a pretty big game too, from the size of the world map I'm roughly half-way through the main storyline and corresponding area quests with 40 hours under my belt.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC)
Playing catch-up with this series as I refuse to pay £40 for a five-hour story mode! So I tend to wait for them to drop below £15 and snap them up. Nothing new to see here, same-old-same-old... I honestly preferred the last Medal of Honor to this one.

Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC)
I'm not an MMO fan at all but I am a Bioware fan and when I gave up hope for KOTOR 3 I turned my attention to this. It's not bad, much more solo/story-orientated than most MMOs which suits me fine.

Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
Had this since September, playing on and off and still not finished. I know I need to get a wriggle on if I want to play Last Story and Pandora's Tower this decade... but damn this game is huge. So many quests, so much stuff to do... I'm at around 80 hours and poised to enter the Mechonis Field.

Just finished the single player mode of Trials Evolution - it is a superb game but there is still so much to see and do, especially with some of the amazing tracks which are appearing on-line by the Trails community. This months GAMEStm has scored it 8 out of 10. I'd buy it if it was a full price retail game, let alone the bargain 1200m$ points it costs to download.

I'm now playing FEZ on XBox LIVE Arcade (9 out of 10 in this months GAMEStm) . Hers's another perfect example that originality and charm exists in modern games. Only a couple of hours in but I'm already sure it will be up there amongst the nominations for best XBox LIVE arcade game at the end of the year.

I'm a big fan of the TV show also and wasn't disappointed with this game. It's well worth the Season pass. Download the trail and see what you think

I finished Mass Effect 3 the other day, and now I'm just loving the multiplayer which I thought I'd hate.

The ending was a pretty big anti-climax, but I'm in two minds about it (spoilers in white right below- read at your peril).

On the one hand, I think it was an interesting way of putting forward the idea that despite everything you do, sometimes there's no way to win, or at least not easily. Sometimes, fate takes its course - the nice guy finishes last, the bad boy gets the girl, and all that. Shepard could have done everything right, but when it came down to the crunch, he couldn't save himself.

Or galactic civilisation either, for that matter - by destroying the mass relays, I think they've also destroyed their chances at continuing the franchise.

On the other hand, boiling all of the choices and decisions you've made throughout the three games down to a simple 'pick a direction to walk in and a different coloured magical field will explode around the galaxy' choice was a smack in the face to people like me who've spent hundreds of hours on the previous two games, creating various different save files so I can try everything. Especially after they promised prior to launch that they wouldn't end the story with a deux ex machina (which they did, right at the start of the game actually), and that all of our previous choices throughout the games would influence the ending (which they didn't, 'cause the only influence on the ending was which direction I pointed the analogue stick).

So I don't know whether I'm furious, or curious, about the ending.

Either way I'm enjoying the co-op multiplayer a lot more than I thought I would. If anybody fancies a few games my gamertag is Simpl3Machin3!

Currently playing Ocarina of Time on my 3ds (so it's sort of current gen....)

I picked this up to play on the plane for my recent jolly. I've tried it in the past but lost interest and put it down. Decided to have another crack at it (with the 3d turned off!!).

It's a decent enough romp but I'm still not getting that 'one of the all time best games' feel from it. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate that it is a great game, but, looks like I'm on my own with this.

I'm tempted to put it down again but I'm determined to persevere with it till the end. Not sure I'll bother with the ol' Skulltooli thing though.

OOT isn't ageing well IMO, I completed it 10 years ago it was truly astounding then, had another go a few months back and wasn't quiet so interested, I find that with a lot of the early 3D games whereas anything 2D seems to hold up will to this day.

Playing Tomb Raider Underworld on PS3. I don't mind it overall but the treasures are a pain to collect and some of the levels are long and annoying, so here's hoping it's quick and painless!

I've found that to be true as well. Early 3D has aged terribly compared to 2D sprites.

OOT has made me seriously consider shelling out for a 3DS if only to see a classic given a new lick of paint. But what I'm really hoping for is a redo of Majora's Mask! It might be blasphemous to say it, but I always preferred it to Ocarina.
