All of the PS1 games were 50p each (Yay Jojo's Bizzare Adventure :D )
PS2 games were £2/3 - Steambot Chronicles is actually quite fun.

I got a non "Sold-out" version of that game that doesnt exist. And a couple of GBA games :)

Very nice finds there. Jojo's bizzarre adventure has evaded me for years at the carboot and a ps1 game i have been after for a long time but with no luck off finding on the cheap in the wild yet, so the hunt goes on.

£12 for the both of them on eBay, just missed out on the same sellers pokemon yellow which was in the same condition as the blue version i got. Pokemon red's boxed is beyond bad but the game and inserts are in great shape, but for the price i cant complain, cartridge only games go for double what i paid!

Just had http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PS1-SYPHON-FILTER-2-COLD-BLOOD-RARE-MINT-/280874324579?pt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item41656a1263 arrive, I think a good price as it's the only UK version I've seen of this double pack since I've been looking years ago.

I've also just noticed only the German version is listed in the database.

Not seen that before, must be a pretty late PS1 release judging by that PEGI logo.

Yeah one of the last double packs to be released as far as I'm aware, still need to track a few down though.

ah, they have 2 numbers, was hoping for one, too see how high it was, highest number i have so far is SLES 04164 - Yetisports Deluxe (Italian release), so not as easy as i thought to see just how late in the PS1 run those double packs are then

Yeah they tended to use the original SCES numbers for their double packs just with a "T" on the end, guessing that stands for twin?

It even has the old release dates on the back 2000, but further down it also has 2000-2003, so maybe it was a 2003 release.

Hard to find out much about these packs.

I would guess 2003 is the release for that double pack then, a few years after the PS2 was released

Nice, I want a saturn but unless I see one at a carboot ill wait till I have a Mega CD first.
Also in regards to cleaning the box, this is taken from http://www.consolepassion.co.uk:

"Cleaning Boxes
Cleaning Second Hand Game boxes of dirt is easy enough. Removing stickers - especially from cardboard boxes is a slightly more delicate task. The trick is to dissolve the glue that bonds the sticker to the box, and this can be done once again with our trusty friend Isopropyl. Using a pipette (a teaspoon will suffice, but can get a little messy!) suck up some Isopropyl, and the saturate the sticker. Wait a few minutes until the sticker starts to become slightly transparent and then carefully lift one corner of the sticker using a finger nail. Using only a small amount of pressure gently peel back the paper - if it gives any resistance stop and drop on a little more Isopropyl. Eventually the glue will dissolve and the sticker will peel off easily without tearing the box. Any residual glue can be wiped off with a cloth and some more Isopropyl. Once all stickers are removed you can give the box a complete wipe with the Isopropyl soaked cloth - it's amazing how much of a lustre this can restore to a dull faded box. The same tips apply to plastic boxes and CD cases.

Obviously these are just my own tips - Console Passion takes no responsibility for any damage you may do (although, if you follow them properly, you should have no problems). Note that Isopropyl is the best cleaning fluid to use as it doesn't melt plastic or left print, and its dries without leaving marks. You should always use Isopropyl in a well ventilated room."

Small but nice PS2 lot. My good game wishlist is quite small now, less than 40 games I think. Luckily most of them are actually cheap games, with a few exceptions (Atelier Iris series, Project Zero 2, Rule of Rose).

Some new games yesterday.

Got that Beethoven game from a webshop for about 4GBP. Haven't seen that one before and can't even find a cart on eBay. What do you guys reckon it's worth?

Beethoven is pretty rare, awful game but that doesn't matter to crazy folks who will pay out of their backsides for something. Youl easily make quite a lot of money on it if you sell it at some point.
