New website...

Ok guys - some of you will know that recently I've taken the decision to stop uploading videos to TrollTube

So as an alternative I've now got my own website up and running and will be using that to share my collection over the t'internet as well as doing text and video based retro game reviews

So feel free to take a look around and bookmark the site for further updates (hopefully I'll be updating it on a daily basis)

To be honest I put up with them for 3yrs but when they start falsely claiming copyright on your videos and YouTube just remove your videos without any investigation it does make you question if its worth the effort

Nah the vblogs will be done - I may do a general vlog somewhere else later on down the line but for now I want to concentrate on the new website and adding content to it on a regular basis

I was under the impression they had been leaving offensive comment's for the sake of it.

I've dealt with offensive comments for a long time on YT from the Trolls but the straw that broke the camels back was this latest lot of bullshit going around whereby they claim copyright on your videos and have them removed.. so I'd put a new video up with all my own content on - they'd falsely flag it and then YouTube remove it and put a strike on my account.

Only way I can counter-claim is to agree to provide my name, number and address to the troll and then wait the mandatory 2 weeks that YT gives the troll to decide on taking action (which he doesn't as he's already closed that account and created a new one to false flag from)...

So x2 weeks later YT can reinstate my video - by which time its disappeared off everyones subs list as its over 6 days old so ends up with next to no views... so like I said its not worth the 3-4hrs it takes to record, edit and upload per video...

Doing the new website gives me full control and hopefully between here, FaceBook and Twitter I can get a consistant following of people visiting and commenting on my new content

Sucks that the trolls cost you your place on YT but my boyfriend and I are both fans of your vids so no matter where they're uploaded to we'll still be watching them

Yes all done by own fair hands - its done using WordPress which is fairly easy to install once you've got a domain etc registered and somewhere to host your site... the hard work comes when you start designing the layout etc and getting all the content on there

Its been a good learning curve though and definately great to be back doing what I enjoy

Nice job on the website Keep meaning to get back to my Wordpress site, still only has like one movie review on it

Had checked out a few of your vids in the past and was wondering where they'd went. Youtube's full of keyboard warriors though, which is one reason I'm tempted not to use them if/when I start doing vids. Have heard mixed reviews of Blip, some of the review sites I go to have started using other video upload sites though the names of them escape me.

Im afraid I never saw your You Tube however I just spent a good half hour having a browse, will keep an eye on it and am looking forward to an update on the Master System.
