Should I go for a DSI xl or Star Wars 360?

Today, i've spent most of the day rounding up games that I paid 49p-£1.99 for in the recent GAME sale.

I've run out of the usual Tiger Woods/FIFA/Pro Evos that I stocked up on specifically for this, so I've had to trim down some fat on my main current gen collections.

Currently I've rounded up 51 games which should fetch me £200 of credit. I've got around £60 of credit already.

I'm thinking of getting a DSI with what I have currently, but I've calculated that if I dig out another 25 cheapies, I can get the Xbox starwars bundle.

Anyone got the Starwars bundle? worth having?

Well the star wars console and controller looks amazing so i would go for that! Guess it depends on what you need more though, if you already have a new xbox, not much point getting another!

well, came back empty handed...

Managed to dig out 69 games in the end to trade in. my calculation was 23 x 10 in bonus payments (£10 bonus for every 3 games traded in) and £1 a game extra for their actual value. so, i was expecting about £300.

The Game trade in was obviously crazier than I expected. They gave me £361.10!!

Ran home to get more games to try and get the total to £450 (so I could get both) getting things that I haven't played yet but cost me peanuts (like the £2 Oktoberfest DS game I picked up for £2 at CEX yesterday). But they were shut

Still, got £400 on my card now.

I may wait and see if I can use the credit to repurchase my trade ins. Let's face it, they're not gonna sell much if they keep the prices at £6.99.

Could end up in tears though if they hit rocky ground again and The credit isnt honoured....

I urge any of you with dud current gen games in the UK to gettem knocked in tomorrow! You will never be able to get more for your 5hite (i'm obviously not talking about Tales of Vesperia etc!)

Wow that 10 bonus seems mighty generous, is it only on current gen games then?

Any idea when the promotion ends? I'm at Uni currently and all my **** old Xbox games are at home , might trade tonnes of stuff in to get that Star Wars Xbox, i'm still rocking the 20GB release console, it's been fixed twice and now the disk tray button doesn't work

wii Code Lyoko (which I bought from them originally for 99p) - £6.40

can't you go with the duplicates later that day or the next day if you want?

one in leeds seem to have stopped taking in footy games, they told me that the manager of cex went in with a stock of old crap stock to try and trade in, they politely refused as they had left their cex name badge on

yesterday i managed to buy truth or lies and your in the movies and beijing 2008 for a quid each in the charity shops and bagged myself another 13 quid.

still cant believe they gave me £15.40 trade in on the band hero solus game, only paid 98p for it from them and they only sell it for a fiver. Chap said its like they are actively wanting to go back into administration.

i've had nearly £250 off them now, made a good profit too

Thought id give it a go i traded Bionic Commander and 2 Fifa games for £9 credit i would have got 12 but the guy took £3 to clean the disks can't moan though the 3 games cost me like £2 max lol...

Personaly id say get the 360 i only recently bought the slim or i would have snapped up a Starwars xbox The xbox may also become a nice collectors piece and will most likely rise in price over time.

Be careful y'all, they're being picky today....

Went to CEX and stocked up on £2.00 games. Offloaded them all bar two. they were FIFA 08s. The assistant gave me a script about not accepting sports games older than 2010.

I can't complain, as they've accepted my other 100+ games.

There's a fine art to this. Don't get lumbered with a pile o turd
