Damn, I would love to collect Jap SNES games simply due to the boxart... they are just so much better than the turgid mess we had over here in comparison!

Wow, you guys have some fantastic SNES stuff! I'm getting back into the swing of things after a brief hiatus from collecting; great community here!

For my last stellar SNES find, I managed to snag a copy of Super Castlevania IV in the box (with the original wrap covering all but the right side panel) complete with a mint condition cart, tray and manual. Whoever previously owned it took damn good care of it, that's for sure!

This thread is just super.
I'm hoping I can get hands on a SNES again, I got one at a carboot a while back £1.50 but it has no leads and it is probably busted, it has a hole in the front.
Anyway I can see super nintendo being a slow build thing, the games on it are really expensive now, I don't think I'll ever ebay a snes game again unless it is a lucky find.

I'm from the US, and I've lucked out immensely with both the rarity and overall physical condition of some amazing SNES titles. I haven't collected much since about November of last year, but this site and these discussions are reviving the retro itch!

Thanks guys! Used to have a bit more PAL, but decided to only keep what I want and sold some to get others I still want. I'm really into NTSC at the moment because of my SupaBoy and it just looks better anyway, as does SFC. NTSC is a good alternative for the insane PAL prices! Also trying to get CIB's of all the games I really enjoy, for others loose carts are fine to me.

I've picked up some amazing bargains on NTSC buying. I have not bought PAL since it was out as it is worse to play and more expensive now. I love JP stuff if it is playable as the boxes are amazing.

It's impossible to say. Take tha PAL Mana that went for £10k. It obviously went to someone with too much money and the game meant a lot to him in particular.

It's always difficult to grade US sealed games as some of them are reseals (I'm not for a second suggeting that yours is).

That Exertainment Mountain Bike/Speed Racer has been up there for 5k (best offer) since the dawn of time so I'd guess that FF2 falls well short of that.

Sealed FF3s and Chronos are being offered up around the £500 region, but again, they've been sat there for ages collecting dust.

So....I guess the right person would be willing to pay around £300?

I may be well out - just adding my thoughts to the discussion.

Besides, you (or one of your brothers) have been hammering SNES (PAL and NTSC) for ages! You'll be the expert! :D
