I have just sold my first one but eBay appears really strange and it doesnt want to release the payment, instead it gives me an estimated funds availability date. Is this just how eBay international works? It really weird and suggests i post the payment before its even cleared in my account - has anyone else experience with this?

Thanks

As far as the clearing date is concerned, I've never experienced it but I'm guessing its been paid with a paypal e-cheque, they do have a clearance time. DON'T SEND ANYTHING UNTIL ITS CLEARED.

I don't think it is because of this. With new sellers they put funds on hold internally until feedback is left by buyer / certain amount of time has elapsed. Idea of that is to stop people setting up new accounts, selling a load of stuff and then doing a runner.

i will say a bit overpriced, since the Dollar is worth much less than the £, and i don't think the postage makes up for the difference, also the uk one is bidding that starts at that price, and the us is buy it now :P

The wacky prices are not his, that is the price people are willing to pay.

Glad I don't collect for the SNES.

I am pretty sure that guy has had over 10 Ebay accounts over the past few years. I remember buying a Turrican 2 and a few other odds and ends for 50 EUR.

Not eBay, but the Swiss equivalent Ricardo

https://www.ricardo.ch/kaufen/games-und ... 677790534/

Please let me win this... I'm quite fond of the Swiss Import stickers on the boxes. In fact I vaguely remember all Gameboy games were sold in stores like this, not sealed but with a white Sticker covering the flap to open it. In even more facts I set myself a challenge to collect only boxed Gameboy games that were sold in stores in Switzerland - with those two stickers. Which makes a CIB full set even more hard to achieve but you have to set some long term goals, innit

Edit: Before you comment on the high price, please consider that Switzerland isn't 49p UK heaven.

Wow, nice auction wish i could bid on it! Boxed gameboy games are some of the most expensive things on eBay for what they are. Nearly all the games are priced highly with BIN It makes no difference if the game is utter garbage,it will still be priced at £15ish if it's boxed!
