First, many many thanks to Mr Gunstarhero for the wii money boxes! (and the bonuses inside! - see the retro pickups). They're absolutely fab!![]()
Keeping with the wii theme, I've had a pretty decent week this week.
Some of the games could be difficult to find in future. Busy Scissors, Turbo Trainz, Vet Life, Defendin de Penguin weren't widely available titles.
oops, forgot to add these to the piccies as well.
Where on earth did you find that Samurai Shodown Anthology? Okay I know isn't the rarest game ever but I've never even see the Wii version before, especially with a UK PEGI logo on the box.
Also, Turbo Trains looks crap but that's one awesome name!

It should have made me suspicious because of the wrapping of the package - a black plastic foil.
I unpacked it. THE HORROR!
Some of the damages can occur during shipping. THe bigger rips I can sort of maybe understand if they removed some stickers... but a goddamned actual hole? On a supposedly new product? Come on.
I wrote the shop a mail with this photo explaining the situation and camly and politely asked their opinion about this.
When I read the guestbook entries, I sort of doubt I'll ever get an answer. Apparently I'm not the only one that had this happening. And apparently the shop isn't too keen on answering emails.
Guess I should have read the Guestbook before ordering. Thats what you get for surfing around webshops near the end of the night shift.
Well, we'll see how this goes. I haven't opened the box yet - it still seems factory sticker sealed... seems.
Oh well if they don't answer, so be it, it still was cheap and has New Super Mario Brothers DS in it. At least I hope lol.
hydr0x wrote:Chocklo are you actually intending to go for a full Wii set then? Cause some of the junk in there is pointless to have if you don't
hydr0x wrote:I'd guess the Wii has about 1500-2000 games. I can understand obscure stuff. But I mean, come on. Vet Life? Thats one of a million pet games and it's even by a big name publisher. It can't get any more mainstream

My complex system involves buying every current RPG and anything from a low key/budget publisher, gotta strike gold on some of them.

Im no expert, but to me this looks like a german USK white logo has been ripped from the box. It looks exactly the right size. Might be wrong though but why would someone do such a thing?

chocklo wrote:Quite a decent week on the modern games front this week. Sweetened by the fact that I've mostly been spending GAME credit and CEX vouchers.
Firstly, I was buzzing to find that Cave Story in the wild! Snapped it up immediately and spent some oif my CEX credit.
I saw the One Piece listed on Amazon at £25. At that price I was expecting the Euro version - which was still good value so I snapped it up. It turned out to be the UK version - woohoo!![]()
