Repro Darxide's on Ebay

Hi,

Just to make you all aware that there are now repro copies of Darxide on Ebay! Just when I thought Ebay couldn't get any worse!:

Has anyone had any of these repros before as there seems to be quite a few floating about now. Are they clearly obviously different from the originals as they look close matches from the picture.

Well looking at this one, I'd say the fact that the box looks brand-new would be the obvious giveaway. Not saying that good condition genuine copies of Darxide don't exist but it's unlikely that they'd look like that.

In this case though, at least the description is clearly that of a repro, not somebody trying to pass a repro off as an original product. Not sure it would justify such a high price tag though.

I'm surprised at the quality of this repro too but I wonder if the inner tray part of the box has been replicated properly since it isn't shown in the picture.

Selling them for £160 is bit OTT is it not, how much would that cost to produce, a few pounds??

When these appear, people will try and pass them off as real deal. That's what I'd be concerned about as from the pictures they look at least very close.

There was someone selling these along with the other two out of the UAE on eBay. Very suspect, too good to be true.

I actually sent the seller a question to see if they had any other games - no others but sounded like there might be more in the future. Those collecting them will have to be pretty wary.
