1) Side scrolling beat-em-up with ninjas, there were different colour enemy ninjas. I am quite sure this game was on the Hit Squad range.

2) Side scrolling beat-em-up, it was 2 player and your characters were blokes in jeans and vests and either the first or second level you were on top of a truck (maybe a train).

Hit Squad was mainly Ocean titles re-released on budget price

Have to say that (2) really does sound very Bad dudes,Characters in jeans/vests - fighting on truck.Plus there were 2 'dudes' on the cover - not sure if some versions had a 2 player option.

As for (1) could it be Shadow Warriors?

Was re-released on Hit Squad and was one of my favourite games ( on speccy mind) for years , along with Rainbow islands and Midnight resistance.

isnt much to go on i know, but hopefully it rings a bell for someone that can help me

Sounds in some ways like 'Rise of the Dragon'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKpkkQH6ZT4

its by Dynamic 'part of the Sierra family'
its point n clicky, with text based choices
there are several office based parts - view around 0:12:20

Hope that helps?

I concur with the second, Shadow Warriors popped straight into my head. The first though reminds me of Dragon Ninja. There was a train-top fight, which in one release was fatally bugged as you couldn't jump!

Postby SonicSynthesis » Tue Feb 28, 2012 7:44 pm

I remember playing a Dreamcast setup in a Sears or something in the states years ago and i was playing this game that i thought was really cool but i've no idea what it was called. All i remember is that when you kill enemies you can turn into them and use their attacks. Any ideas?

Dragon Ninja and Bad Dudes are the same game - the full title was Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja :)

There's been a game stuck in my head for over a week now, I'm pretty sure it was on the Spectrum, failing that it may have been on the C16:

A side scrolling shooter in which you flew a white plane (I think it was a plane) and at the end of each level you had to refuel by lining up your craft with another larger craft and try not to hit the ar$e end of it...??

Any ideas??

Maybe a longshot here but there was a game on the commodore 64/128 called G.U.T.Z which involved running around an shooting all manner of internal organs. I can't find any info on an amiga release but you never know..

Game 1 - Its a C64 platform game and you play as a caveman on a unicycle. Thats all I remember :?

Is it by any chance BC's quest for tires (sic)

That sounds a lot like Grogs revenge to me. Remember playing it as a kid. whenever grog fell off his bike or a cliff this other caveman geeza would jump in the screen and shout " GROG!!!!! "

Here's one for you all-

I had a very addictive game on the ST; You played a little green froggy looking character and you arrived on screen in a little submarine thing and would have to climb a tower to the top whilst avoiding bouncy balls and moving platforms and sparkly, fizzy things that came on from each side of the screen. As you'd walk around/through the tower, the tower would rotate so your froggy pal was always centre screen. And when you finally scaled the tower, the little greeny fella would jump (on a button??) and the tower would flatten to sea level, allowing you to start on a different coloured tower on the next level.

Cheers in advance guys :)

Ahh, of course it is..!! I simply could not remember the name (it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue) thanks for putting me out of my misery.

And I'd forgotten all about the catching fish for bonus sub levels. Man, level 3 is tricky!!

This should be pretty easy, but my memory's at a blank... I'm fairly certain this game came with the Sega Master System I owned.
I remember there being the word Dead in the title (Dead Eye, Dead Shot?), although don't trust me on this one. I also think the cover had shades of yellow and black, and a raincoat, à la Dick Tracy. It was a shooting game, where you were basically still and just shot enemies by using the d-pad.

That's it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hi, I've got one for you that I just can't figure out...

I think I was playing it when I was about 8? So about 2000 but I 'think' it was an old game THEN perhaps.
Right, It's a real-time-strategy...

The icon on the desktop was a skull, I think when I double-clicked the shortcut I small window came up with a black background and green text stating what I wanted to do, don't remember what (Singleplayer, Multiplayer?)

A big memory is a pig squeeling noise somewhere in it, I'm thinking there might have been pigs with bombs strapped to it that explode and squeel but I don't recall too heavily.

One of the races I remember you being able to play as in the game are like tribal people that ride dinosaurs, pterodactyls etc... There were lots of races I think.

There was an editor for the game, I went on it a lot because there were at least 3 different kinds of mines in the game, and you could detonate them real-time in the editor so i'd make massive explosions, I think one of them left a green poisonious gas behind...

I've searched it up many a time and I just have no idea what it could be, but it was brilliant... If anyone knows of this game I would be so thankful!

Thank you so much!
