Kid Icarus has risen in value quite a bit without good reasons so you're in luck there. Rodland can vary very much, it's not anywhere near as rare or valuable as the NES counterpart.

I just picked up a couple of boxed GBA games, one of which is Bass Tournament. there's one loose cart on eBay, and no completed listings.

Any idea how rare this game is, or how much it's worth?

Complete US Jazz Jack Rabbit on the GBA. Can only find a cartridge only on ebay selling for £25, not always the best guide for actual value. I want to sell it (non auction), but have no idea what to set the price at. Thanks,

@socheeky - <£10. Yep, that £25 one's up there, but it's been there since the dawn of time. It's fairly rare but common enough on US ebay. The problem is that it isn't considered to be a classic in it's GBA guise (though admittedly, there is a small cult following of the PC version). Also, there aren't that many US cart only GBA collectors out there. In the UK, US carts tend to go for less than US (for non-US exclusive titles) I only know about this game cos I've been trying to batter an ebay reseller down from £49.99 to £35 for a while now for their complete PAL version - (but they choose to ignore my offer, ah well....I thought £35 was quite generous). If you genuinely intend to sell it, I may be wrong, but I think you're looking around the £5 mark. I'd personally stick it on a £5 start and see if anyone bites.

@Soop - Did you win it in a bundle last Sunday? If yes, I was watching that bundle as well :D Difficult to say as it doesn't show up too often. But, I do know that one's been up for a while in Germany for £15. He's a reseller though and therefore his prices are slightly higher. If you wanted a sale, I reckon you're talking a tenner.

I think the Zelda could easily be worth a tenner! :D

Cos I'm feeling generous, I'll gladly give you £15 for it! :D

Look, I'm only joking (unless you really want to sell it for £15!!) but sealed games are totally unpredictable currently. The only way you're gonna find out how much it's worth is by sticking on a 99p start....

The Gameboy Light I reckon is £80 all the way. You could try for £80 - £100, but if you go closer to the hundred mark, it may not sell.

Thanks for the info Chocklo, I think I will put it on slightly higher, but very useful to have a ball park value.

Hi all.

Whilst looking through some boxes in the loft/attic recently, I came across some electronic games that I last played in the 80's. I've checked them, and they are all boxed and work, so I thought about selling them, but I have no idea as to their current value. I found this forum whilst looking for more information about them, so any chance I could get a rough valuation for each? Click on the images for a larger view (suggest right-click and open in new tab/window, then click on image again once on the imageshack website).

BMX Flyer (Grandstand)
Box (damaged and ripped), packing (some discolouration), instruction book (some discolouration and creases)
Scratches on screen
Works on mains power supply, but I can't get it to work on batteries (tried cleaning contacts), buttons and sound work OK

Pocket Pac Man (Grandstand)
Box (some damage on corners), packing (some discolouration), no instruction book
Some scratches on screen
Works with batteries, buttons and sound work OK

Image Image Image Image Image

Star Force (Grandstand)
Box (damage on top opening), instruction book (rusty staples, some discolouration), couple of extra leaflets
Some scratches on screen
Unable to test with batteries as I don't have any of the correct size, but works with a power supply, buttons and sound work OK (Start/level/phase buttons have to be pressed quite hard to work though)

Tomytronic 3-D Thundering Turbo (Tomy)
Box (corner damage and a rip), packing (some discolouration) instruction book (some creases), strap
White plastic casing has gone a bit cream-coloured with age, small scratch on top, some damage on battery compartment catch, light scratches on viewing lenses
Works with batteries, buttons and sound work OK

The Dracula (Tsukuda)
Box (Quite a lot of damage), packing (damaged), no instruction book
Lots of scratches on screen
Unable to test with batteries as I don't have any of the correct size, but works with a power supply, buttons and sound work OK (joystick action is a little stiff though)

Hi Guys

I have recently started collecting Gamecube games and today popped into CeX and picked up a nice looking copy of Starfox Adventures. When I got home I realised that the counter guy had put Starfox Assault disk and manual into the adventures box. As as gamer I'm looking forward to playing the game, but as a collector, I would rather have complete and boxed games. Does anyone know how much an empty Starfox Assault box would be, or how much an unboxed version, with manual, is worth?

Cheers

Neither is worth anything really, just get back there and ask them to give you the right disc.

And I just picked up a boxed Noah's Ark for the NES. Seems like a European only release, uncommon but not rare - but it's on eBay for silly money.

Are those prices completely unfounded, or is it worth a bit?

I actually looked into this myself when I found my copy at a cash converters for 50p. It seems to go for around 30-50 - at least that was the going rate about a year ago.

What do you reckon these are worth - all are boxed and black label. - PS1
had a look on ebay and wasn't too clear.

Duke nukem - land of the babes
warcraft 2
Evil dead: hail to the king
apocalypse
re-loaded.

my guesses would be £1 - £2.
Compliance.

Looking into the Mega CD, I've got the possibility to buy this lot. Can someone tell me what the spending limit should be on these? A fair few are sealed, but let's just consider that they're not since I don't know about the condition of the seal and whether or not they are reseals. All are complete and in good condition.

Maybe also for individual games so I can see which ones to eliminate in case it gets too expensive.

Thanks!
