Any "good" & "rare" XBOX games?

I'm starting to look at XBOX games since I have modded XBOX for MAME, might as well grab a few good games for it.
I was just looking at a Dutch webshop and spotted a game called Gene Trooper, which I never heard of. I did what I usually do when I see a game for the first time and did a search on eBay. Only found one hit, a German copy.

Is this game rare in any way? Is it any good?

Also, what are other good, hard to find games for XBOX that I should get for the collection?

Not really up on the rare ones - however Genma Onimusha is good, and Conker is a good port of the N64 game.

Now Mad Dash Racing...that was one hell of a running game.

I dunno about rare (there's a fair number of copies on eBay now but some are expensive) but as far as good and exclusive Xbpx games go, I suggest Gun Valkyrie. A pretty intense 3rd person shooter (intense both in terms of 'everything is trying to kill me' and 'these controls are insane') which focuses on staying in the air and raining death on everything from there. Also: fantastic title.

One (apparently expensive?) one to avoid is Black Stone: Magic & Steel, unless you really want a sub-par Gauntlet Legends clone.

Just remember kids GOOD & RARE are pretty much never seen together... When they are mind you, it is a sight to behold regardless of regional boundaries or platforms.

Panzer Dragoon Orta was good and not in the public eye, don't know if it's rare, but not alot of people pay attention to the series

The game that stands out most as meeting the rare and good criteria I would suggest is the original STEEL BATTALION (with huge controller). The sequel saw a larger release and is now obsolete as the game was playable on-line only, so you cannot play the game any more, but the original works fine with a single player campaign.

Bit more left-field but how about Dreamfall: The Longest Journey; Stubbs the Zombie or Painkiller: Hell Wars Stubbs the Zombie isn't too difficult to find and its value has come down somewhat since it was released on XBox LIVE for digital download (but I feel worthy of a mention), but Painkiller is a very playable and particularly hard to find FPS.

For that retro kick, TECMO CLASSIC ARCADE is also quite difficult to find and offers many coin-op perfect arcade ports, including BOMB JACK. It was an X-Box exclusive coin-op compilation package and it is compatible with the 360 too.

As for uncommon games, I have the PAL Xbox version of Jaws Unleashed which you don't see around very often. Grabbed it in Gamestation a few years back just after I'd found out it was hard to find.

A PAL version does exist, I have one (I bought it quite close to release, didn't realise it was rare!). Some interesting games on there (in particular Solomon's Key and Raiga: Strato Fighter), and for a few of them they're the only home ports you'll find.
EDIT: Completely unrelated, but wow, the Japanese cover for the game is... Weird. Take a look.

Star Wars Battle front 1 & 2 and Star Wars KOTOR 1 & 2 seem to be commanding decent prices, the GTA triple pack as well.

Oddworld Strangers Wrath seems a little hard to find as does Jet Set Radio Future.

Original is better, but the port was pretty solid, definitely prettier.
