Currently playing through both Catherine (which is excellent) and Binary Domain (which is outstanding - although the Kinect support is ****.)

Also, playing Zumba Fitness Rush for 360, in order to review it. And no, it isn't a happy task. :)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 on my 360. I was one of the few people who seemingly really enjoyed FFXIII (it probably divided opinion more that any other FF game in the main series thus far). If you did not like the first game, I'm not sure that this will be your bag either, but it is more readily accessible from the start and offers an open world immediately (rather than make you play through 30+hours of linear RPGing as the first game did before it lets you go off on quests and choose where you go within the game world next).

If you haven't played the first game, then I could imagine that the story will confuse the hell out of any newcomer.

Many of you will I know from the pictures of games I have posted of my collection that I'm an RPG fan and this is not the best example of the genre by any stretch of the imagination. However, I'm 40+ hours into XIII-2 and enjoying it, so it must be doing something right. The game got 8 out of 10 in GAMEStm and 5 out of 10 in EDGE. There's a long way to go before I've seen everything the game has to offer, but I'm more towards GAMES opinion at this stage - EDGE's review for me was a bit harsh.
When you get to the city of Academia 400 years in the future and you have corrected the past so that when you get there everything is lovely and the citizens are happy, the graphics are nothing short of stunning. Academia is a beautiful futuristic city to wander around (I can spend hours admiring art direction in games and this particular level is lovely IMO). I'm enjoying the time travelling mechanic of the game where you visit the same places but at different times over a 900 year period. To see how various decisions you have made have effected the future (and subsequently change the past!) is like a more in depth Sonic CD.

Now it's finally downloadable on the PSNetwork, I'm playing JOURNEY

Shadow of the Colossus/ICO coupled with the brilliance of Flower all rolled into one. Not sure I've ever seen a more visually stunning videogame.

Not many games in my 34+ years of gaming have reduced me to a gibbering wreck, I've been playing the game tonight with a massive smile on my face that I can only recall a handful of games ever really doing the same way the first time I saw them (Knight Lore; Shenmue beng two) - seeing other gamers running around the same single player game that you are playing is a lovely touch. Contender for one of the games of the year already in my book.

Just bought Torchlight on 360 so will give that a go tomorrow, crying my way through Syndicate because it is terrible and I recently bought I Am Alive which is a bit clumsy but quite entertaining.

The Last Story on Wii. Up to final boss battle now and in terms of story, music and characters this is easily one of my favourite JRPG's yet.

Also playing some Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition whenever possible and the PSN version of Daytona USA every now and then.

I started that on my PS3 the other night, seems like it'll be a quality hack n slash :). Currently playing through Saw though, and I have to admit it's better than I thought it would be! Some very gory sections, and because I'm the kind of person who generally charges in head first in games I keep running into traps and getting my head blown off too . Must take it a bit slower ;)
My Trade Feedback Thread

Currently Playing: Urban Strike (MD), Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (PS2), Donkey Kong (GB)
Last Game Completed: James Bond 007: The Duel (SMS)

[i]Bioshock[/i on PS3]. Great game even if the Big Daddies are proving to be rock-solid gits to take down.

Sonic Generations. I had it for Xmas but haven't had the spare time to play until this week. Its bloody awesome, taking all the best bits from Sonic games past and remixing them.

Picked up a cheap copy of Blur on the Xbox 360, been playing that a bit, think Mario Kart with proper cars!
Also been playing Gears 3 with a few RC members, Katsu and ewjim, always good fun!
Still playing Sega Rally Online Arcade, not given up yet in my quest for no.1 time on Classic Mode!

Lastly if you are an Xbox gamer, why not take a look a new Xbox site, I've joined the writing staff and thought I'd give it a little plug!

Warriors Orochi 3 on the Xbox 360, best Warriors game since Samurai Warriors 2, shame the developers are so haphazard.

now what to play next?
toss up between:

uncharted golden abyss

I am playing Pandora's Tower on the Wii and enjoying it as well, I really must try and play some more of the Wii games I own, anyway I would recommend it to anyone that hasn't picked it up yet.

Picked up Cave Story for the 3ds yesterday. Haven't touched my 3ds since the first launch week and just tried to get in to Cave Story.

20 minutes in my stonking headache has returned and I'm reminded why the machine's been collecting dust for months.

I may have another try with the 3d off but it's a shame as the 3d effects are great.
