Off the top of my head, there's also Columns 3, but unfortunately that's Jap/NTSC only.

I'll second General Chaos. Fantastically frantic and hilarious strategy game, glad someone else mentioned it. Loose copies are on the Bay for £3-£5, and there's CIB copies going for less than a tenner (one's even going for £7.25). For that cheap a price I'd say it's well worth a punt.

I'm looking to spice up our vintage game nights with some 4-player Mega Drive action. So far I've got Mega Bomberman coming my way, but what are the must have titles for 4 players?

Also need to get my hands on a multiplayer tap for the Mega Drive...

Thanks in advance for all suggestions!

I've got Super Skidmarks for the MD and thats a 4 player game.... Just plug the extra 2 controller into the cart

During the next long overdue update. It's already been added to our local data files. There will be a news post about that update as it will also add a couple of new systems to the database so you really can't miss it :D

Is there anybody here who owns a complete set of Mega Drive classic rereleases?
I'd like to see a picture of those if you can provide one :)

Kixx is also welcome.

On the subject, what kind of different sets are there in the Mega Drive library? Kixx, Classic Rereleases,... Anything else?
I know more about the Master System than the MD, but I'd like to change that!

Im collecting the PAL MD varients - the ones I know of are Kixx, the light blue Classics releases and the 'paper bag' style releases..

There's pics of some of them under the 'Mega Drive Collection' part of my blogsite:

Ah yeah, didn't think of looking on your blog. I've got it bookmarked even, but slipped my mind :p
The EA rereleases are not my cup of tea. I collected the Master System set because I like the look of them and also the Kixx releases. Might have a look around for the MD classics as well (the brown ones).
Any idea which are the rarer ones in that series?

I think the Home Alone one is hard to get hold of and Shinobi 3 always seems to go for a premium price...

Apart from that not sure which other ones at the moment..

R Vs T classics is a nightmare to find, surprise, surprise! World Cup USA 94 Kixx release can also be pretty hard to come by :). Most of the others pop up pretty regular if you keep your eyes open ;)

Any more out there?

Yes, it's not common but it's not rare either. This game was released at the time when Sega changed their packaging from the black inserts to the blue inserts, so it appears to be Sega experimenting with labels at this time. I have never seen a blue box insert (but that doesn't mean they don't exist I just don't believe they do), but this blue labelled game cart was packaged within the standard black insert release.
As far as I have ever been able to establish, Streets of Rage II was the first PAL game to have region protection too.

About the EA classic releases. I cant really find a complete list of these. I believe that there only are 7 of them. Will show a pic of those I have, but if anyone knows of, or have, one that I don't, please tell! :)
