Hello, discovered this place via the retrogamer forums. I use the same username there and in a few other places too. Big fan of Amstrad (I know, I know!) and Sega stuff especially. Currently I'm building a collection of some of the worst games ever released.

Worst games ever released? That sounds very interesting. I'm collecting budget PS2 crap so I'm interested already

Welcome to the site, glad to see we still get new people from RG over here ;)

Awesome!!! I love games that people think are crap, I generally enjoy playing them too :). I'm guessing you have at least one version of Rise Of The Robots then?

Oh yeah, welcome and stuff ;) .

Actually, RoR is one of the ones I haven't got yet! To be fair, I only recently decided to start this project and that's still on my "to get" list along with count Duckula 2 on the Speccy which would probably be the crowning glory I want!

Oh try for the Amstrad CPC version it's a Speccy port that's even more unplayable than the Speccy original. Quite possibly the single worst game on the Amstrad XD

Hello, I am Evan, and I run the website SNES Central. Hydr0x sent me an email the other day telling me about this site, so I figured I would sign up. We go way back, when he used to hang out in #vbender.

Hey there, great to have you here :) Looks like I need to start working on a PC database now, eh? You could too, of course ;)

Yeah, a PC section would be good.
I would offer to help, but I'm so busy at the moment that it would be foolish of me to commit to something I cannot seriously make the time for. I'm sure you know far more about PC games than myself anyway ;)

Well if you do by chance have a list of all your pc games that has Title/Publisher/Developer columns I could use that as a start, some day later this year ;)

Lord_Santa from Racketboy here

I was very (very) skeptical to this site earlier today (I just found out about it) and had a discussion with... what's your name? the site admin =)

I learned the ropes and found out that I was way out of track, signed up here and realized that, hey! it's a retro-forum and it's PAL-related? couldn't ask for more

I'm 33 years old and retired, thus I have plenty of time and plenty of games =)

I (unfortunately) emulate all the computers I have (I do own 2 Amiga 500's, but... 'tis easier to emulate, since I've got 10 (soon 11) consoles hooked up to the TV already)

I've been gaming since back in '84 and have no intentions of stopping now ^^

really digging the site and looking forward to sharing my rambles with y'all

oh yeah, I live in the land where ice-bears and penguins roam the streets... Sweden... =)

Hey there :)

Glad too see your initial skepticism beeing replaced by enthusiam. We know the rarity system is still very much in WIP but the actual game lists and information should be spot on :)

It's great to have a Swede on board too as we certainly want to reach Scandinavians too. So, having said that, welcome to our site and enjoy your stay.

Re: Introduce yourself!

Postby Lord_Santa » Fri Jan 28, 2011 11:21 pm

thanks for the welcome
and I am slowly starting to realize that this site is indeed very much more complete than I first thought it'd be

I'm a cynic by nature, but I am very, very, very glad that I got convinced to come here
I've only spent a few hours, but I'm loving the place

I am by nature a very... "tidy" person (if you can say that) and like to have order in my collection; and this site gives me all the opportunities I need for that

I am currently trying to recruit other people from Scandinavia as well, unfortunately most people I know from "back in the days" have gone *shudders* current-gen

I'm looking forward to spending some time here and hope that y'all can live with my... ramblings
I'm a very hyped person by nature and thus I tend to talk a lot, but I'm a nice guy (even-though I can initially seem... intimidating)

Would love to have some more Scandinavian's about, would be a great help with tracking down some of the game variants you guys get there, I'm pretty sure there were a lot of Xbox ones I'll be missing from the list (haven't even finished the german variants yet XD)
