Had play of MarioKart 8 at the weekend, it has sparked my daughter's and myself with a bit more interest in the WiiU. However whilst the game is very good, it is not near perfect. Very disappointing to see a certain publication give the game a 9 out of 10? I'd suggest 7-8 from my experience. On top of this £250 still feels very expensive for the system.

Added "Rise of the Guardians" to the collection today which brings me to 60 retail games for the Wii U - the system that's worth every nickel to buy (Katsu *hint* *hint*)

Finally got Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures today, it along with Adventure Time and Spongebob: Plankton's Robotic Revenge seem to be in short supply for the Wii U at least.

My (well, mine and my sons) Wii U collection stands at 22 titles at the moment:

I am aiming for a full collection but the Wii U seems to have taken a back seat for the moment while I'm building my DS collection, must get back on with the Wii U asap, such a great and underrated console!

What ones do people think are going to disappear soon? It'd seem Adventure Time might. Others such as Croods, SpongeBob too but those can be hand fairly reasonably at the moment.

NFS is difficult to find new.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is another, and Tank! Tank! Tank!

If Mario Kart does prove to be the watershed (especially if coupled with a price drop) in terms of Wii U sales, then most non-first party games released up till that point could be potentially hard to get in the future.

Edit: Spongebob is reasonably priced ATM (£15 on Amazon), but that won't necessarily last, if stock does become low then it won't be cheap for long.

The Monster High games seem to keep their value, meant to pick some up for the Wii (Skulltimate Roller Maze etc.) but could never find them secondhand/cheap.

It really is quite upsetting that I'm going to have to pay around the £40 mark for a Need For Speed game

Thank me later ;-)

£20 for NFS: MW at Toys R Us - http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Vide ... ed(0113110)?searchPosition=1

That's true actually. Monster High and Adventure Time seem the most rare out of the 'low sellers'. Ones like Croods, SpongeBob, Ben 10 aren't hugely popular but have been available at lower prices so there are a few pre-owned copies out there.

The LEGO games are going to be fairly easy to come by but should hold their price. Do we think we could create a list of say our top 10 most desirable games that are likely to be hard to get in say 3-6 months or are currently?

Monster High
Phineas and Ferb
Adventure Time

What about Hot Wheels and Just Dance Kids 2014? I haven't seen those around?

OH YEAH!!!

The Mario Kart 8 Bonus Game Promotion will be available in Scandinavia as well - despite we don't have Club Nintendo:

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2014/05/mario_kart_8_free_wii_u_game_promotion_extended_to_scandinavian_countries

Now... what game do I pick? I need to buy a physical copy of them all anyway so... maybe Monster Hunter?

A chance for you to keep one of them sealed?

Nah, I mostly buy used games so sealed games rarely comes in my possession. I also want to photograph the game box content for my albums so keeping them sealed is not part of my wish.

Fair enough so does that mean you are okay with some games being a bit beaten up?
