What Modern Games have you bought lately?

Whilst I don't buy many new games, I seem to have real good luck at the boot sales in securing modern stuff for next to nothing.

A few weeks back some of you may recall me picking up a broken Xbox 360 elite, which happened to be working just fine. Well, I did it again today. A seller I bought from last week had this bundle for me:



All the consoles were supposedly broken, so I was offered them at £20 which I obviously took. I'm pleased to say that while one of the 360's had the red ring of death, the other with the Virgin Megastores faceplate works perfectly too

The Wii's disc drive is broken sadly, but with how advanced Wii hacks are now, you don't even need the discs any more

So despite one broken 360 and a half working Wii, I think a Wii Fit board, a 360, 360 HDD and pads is worth £20!

Got £38 trading in six old crap Wii games at Gamestation and put it towards the following DS titles:
Ultimate Mortal Kombat
Game & Watch Collection (is there any significance to the Club Nintendo logo on the front of the case - was this some kind of exclusive for members?)

Nice trades! Last time I looked, I noticed that GAME was doing trade in 3 games and get a bonus £10 (terms and conitions apply )

Is Gamestation doing something similar? Also, do you know if they're accepting 'any ol' iron' or are they being picky?

Yep, same offer. Don't think they're being picky either - seems stock's running so low they'll take ANYTHING as long as it's in anything approaching decent nick AND they'll pay you way over the odds. Effectively I got £4.40 for PES 2008 and £8.40 each for Big Beach Sports and Chicken Shoot, two games that are beyond terrible!

@ Liam, the Game and Watch collection is exclusive to Club Nintendo, cash in for points. Should be quiet collectable in years to come

Pandora's Tower limited edition arrived today, a real nice set it is as well.

Couldn't resist on waiting to find this cheap at car boot so went online and bought it brand new. Should be here tomorrow i cant wait what do you think of the actual game??

Forgot to post that i recently bought a DSi XL, mostly cause i wanted to play castlevania dawn of sorrow and wanting to get golden sun for it....also a friend gave me an early present about 2 weeks ago and my birthday is 2 and a half weeks away now, think i better post it now lol

and also bought a new 250gb xbox 360 today from game using their trade 3 and get an extra tenner offer. amazed that i got over £160 for 24 games, some of them bought from game sale the other week, all of them i got a good profit on too

Picked up this today from a local ad on Gumtree for £20 mint, not sure of its real value as can't find any on Ebay currently or completed listings, quiet happy though

I 'm off to Gamestation/Game armed with a binliner full of Truth or Lies, Tiger Woods, Pro Evos and FIFAs (as well as a few half decent cheapies I fill me boots with about a month ago) to see what I can get.

Just managed to offload all of my Disney Udraw princesses to CEX, so I've got a weekend of free/CEX voucher shopping.
