Apparently Nintendo is releasing Pokemon Black/ White 2, doth for the DS. This was mentioned on the video games show Good Game here in Australia. It's interesting because they will be the first direct Pokemon sequels and that they will be on DS rather than 3DS.

EDIT: Here's some info on the games.

Most of the ds games I own tend to be 2d sidescrollers like contra. I have started to pick up a few games that use the ds features a bit more, just to add a bit of variety.

So are people buying the shovelware games as well for their collections?

No, why should we? I don't think anyone is going for a complete set so picking those up would be kinda pointless.

I was curious is all. Was just a question, didn't expect anyone to get defensive about it. :?

The "why should we" came across as defensive.

The cheap shovelware has made a way into my collection. Not on purpose - but I think one day the shovelware we all love to hate will have a few rarities.

Exactly! 10p is cheap, I paid £1.00 for my stop smoking. Ripped off. :lol:

How about the Paining model kits of Tanks DS "game"? (thankfully I've succesfully blotted out the exact title, but I'm sure many of you will know the game I'm on about) How utterly shovelware is that?!?

Heh, it's actually not the only game in that series. Multiple exist, and all are quite rare. I perticularly love the My Dangerous Pet games, I think there's one for Snakes and one for Spiders :lol:

@JoeMD

Sorry, wasn't meant that way. It was actually a genuine question as to why people would pick up games like these. Sure, if I'd see a 10p game I'd pick it up too, after all it boosts my collection stats :lol: But even the shovelware you rarely see that cheap.

@ Hydr0x - That's fair enough but IMO that's money I could spend on a decent game. :lol:

Like I said, I don't pick up shovelware on the DS.
