I currently have more PS2 games than for any other console, but it's a comparatively tiny 123!
Thinking about the games I actually want, I'm not sure if I'll even end up doubling that.

Not great thing to say on a retro site but I have more 360 titles than any other consoles... 157

Ive always wondered why the Xbox is considered "Retro" and the PS2 isnt...
Same with the DC which was around the same time i thought, well coming to its end but stil? and the GC was around which only discontinued in 2007, AFTER the xbox?

Its always confused me that...

On another note, i was chatting with my friend and was wondering in 10 years time, whether the PS3/360 will be considered "Retro" and games will be selling for like a pound a time.
That would be strange but good.

I guess it's to do with them still making the odd ps2 game... I class them as retro as they aren't current generation consoles

Well, they aren't making anymore PS2 games now, at least in Europe. So it's time to add it to our database. Having said that, I still need to do a few things. Not the least of which is comparing a game WHICH IS STILL IN THE FRIGGIN MAIL

So PES 2012 was the last then? Or was it yet another Ben 10 title?

Nah, PES is indeed the last. No surprise, after all 2011 only saw a total of 6 releases!

I reckon Sony and Microsoft will come out with big news this time. They have to play catch up to the Wii U.

You suggesting they might cooperate on making a new home console?

No, I reckon E3 2012 is when they will announce their new home consoles - or perhaps something a little more portable from Microsoft?

I don't know, the PSP is outselling the Vita in Japan. And it's unlikely Microsoft will get any decent sales outside of America with a handheld console.

I think also it was said earlier there not announcing new home consoles at E3.

I thought Nintendo was playing catch-up with the Wii U, technologically at least! ;)

It's suppose to be more powerful than the PS3. A Mario game looking better than uncharted 8-)

I think the new xbox could flop - and depending on how the Wii U works - it could be make or break! But Nintendo have been a bit crazy with their latest consoles - let's hope it's amazingly powerful and will make Uncharted 3 look like a NES game

Just lurking again, but I have approximately 1400 PS2 titles, and hopefully that will increase by a few hundred this weekend!
