What video editing software do you use? Just wondered as I've always wanted to get my captured games with another video running side by side.

I'm using the dogs danglies of capture equipment to get the game footage - A Hauppage HD PVR. It's designed for capturing PS3 or 360 footage in full HD, but it works excellent for non HD stuff like the SMS as you can see. Wasn't easy to get it running with retro stuff though - it's not very friendly with CRT TV connections never mind old consoles video connections so I had to use a bank of switchers and a few miles of cables to get it all running smoothly. Worth it though, didn't want to play on an LCD - and how else would I capture the light phaser games! I'm also using really high quality mics, cameras, tripods and editing software, but then I want this to be the best I can possibly make it!
If you're wanting to start off cheaply then you should try an EZCap 2.0 (around £10), they work well enough for the video side of things, but the sound is a bit dodgy so you're better off capturing audio with a mic/camera. Or you could always use an emulator and some screen capturing software, I just prefer the real thing.

In fact, I just got R-Type, Zillion I, and Zillion II (all three with their manuals) for the SMS. The creases are a bit faded and white where the label folds to the top, but for $1.49 each, I thought it was worth it. Now I just need a SMS...
