hey all, bought a job lot of games consoles,pc parts games etc off ebay,in the pics you couldnt see what was in the boxes.went to pick them up today and wow  it was worth the risk !!! i couldnt believe the stuff i got!
the peson i got them off do house clearances, all this was in a storage container with other stuff, and as the bill hadnt been paid,it was auctioned off. Im thinking the original owner was involved in the games industry, check the pics out, this is just some of it, i ran out of time taking pics as my missis wanted it sorted

£101 ! Not bad :) theres so much other stuff too , loads of pc stuff , hard drives etc DVD recorders etc
Both of those jags are weird one has a orange light when you turn it on , the other is red ! My own jag is green !
The jag controller I got with this is also different to mine , the wires are thinner and the connectors are different ! When I turned the jag with the cd on top , a green screen came up with the words 'jaguar development system 1994 atari Corp ,2 nov 94 .
Also they both have on the back of them by the tv input a l and h switch my own jag does not have this , confused !

Very cool stuff, but that Link's Awakening poster has art from Ocarina of Time. Odd.

Amazing finds, thanks for sharing the pictures. That pokemon red proto in particular could be very interesting.

Btw, is that Product Number 03 for teh GameCube a prototype? If so I'd be interested in buying that off of you :) Same for the GBC proposal documents, I'd be very interested in those.

I'm not sure what to do with it all yet , some of the games I have , the dev jag with the cd on top I don't think without those wires plugged into something it's not going to work , need a jag expert really !
The n64 with red wires coming out of it , is a beast ! The best visuals I've seen on a n64 , I'll be keeping that !
The other jag plays games fine , but has that extra switch on the back and a different colour on light .
I'll get some more pics up later to show both the jag consoles .

I'd put Dev kits and proto's on eBay with clear descriptions. You'd also do good by sending a link to www.gamesniped.com of your auctions to get a lot of viewers. People who are really interested in this kind of stuff will pay a good amount of money for it through eBay...There's no saying what some if it may be worth, the only real way to know is to auction them seperately through eBay and I promise you you'll be surprised. And keep what you want to keep!

Have a word with Jagfest over on the RG forum. I don't think there's much he doesn't know about the old black cat. :)

Absolutely incredible finds. You are one lucky guy, very lucky!

EnforcerOfJustice wrote:Amazing finds, thanks for sharing the pictures. That pokemon red proto in particular could be very interesting.

As much as I want to believe it is a Pokemon prototype, my guess based upon the chip sticking out of the cartridge on custom board is that a Pokemon Red cartridge was reverse engineered to be used as a writeable cartridge for development. This is quite common with NES prototypes featuring poorly cut holes in the cartridge to access the board.

Hello!!

Well, I dont know much about gaming or anything, but I can see what you got is pretty epic! How often do you come across this kind of stuff. I guess not often at all! Its like the person who had it all was an evil villain experimenting on poor defenseless consoles and games to make some legendary monster. ITS ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE :D ! You are very lucky! Sometimes its good to take punt on something. I need more money to be doing that.

Just looking at that screen shot of the N64, it is suuuuuuuuuuuper bright. It definately looks different to mine!

Anhywho, bottoms up to you! :) .
