I ordered a MD the other day. Found a boxed one with all the bags and cable ties so I thought I would grab it while they are still around and pick up a few games to show the kids so they can appreciate old skool 16bit gaming. That'll be a few years away though. Im looking forward to it arriving!

Ive been looking for a boxed Mega CD but nothing really exciting has appeared anywhere yet.

Saying that the games seem to be rather expensive! I know they are getting pretty obscure now but I have seen mediocre titles going for £10+ Im going to hit car boot sales and Gumtree every now and then to try to pick up something pretty.

Oh, 2 last things. 1, my MD is coming with Alisia Dragoon, which I thought was rare, but shows as common on the database.
2, I would have collected SNES, but the games rarely come with boxes. A friend collects N64 and he has trouble getting decent boxed games.

I would LOVE to get a Multi-Mega, but they appear only rarely on eBay and when they do they are damn expensive!

I have over 100 Megadrive games, but not a single boxing game.
I don't even think I've ever played 1.
Anyone got any suggestions of a few good places to start?

Muhammad Ali Heavyweight Boxing is the best one I have played and is fairly common and cheap to pick up.

Cool beans. I'll keep my eye out for it. Cheers mate.

Aero the Acrobat 2 went for £104.50 on ebay, yesterday.
Look like that's another 1 to add to the "I'm probably never going to own" list.

Its generally around the £35 mark so I've no idea why it pushed £100+ this time..

Me neither. You expect some fluctuation, but nearly 3 times average selling price is crazy mental.

I paid £2.15 delivered for NBA Jam this weekend. Bit more my price range.

I saw that auction mate, glad you won it. Fair price for the pair I'd say :), they're both good games too!

£104.50 is a silly price for Aero 2! I've noticed a few games going for crazy prices recently... Separation Anxiety is amongst the list at the moment selling for £130+ recently!

Yes thats one that averages around £50-£60... I think the 'ol PAL MD is feeling left out what with some of the SNES prices and now trying to compete

Ive seen that full set a few times over the last couple of months - think it started off around 10k..

No fun for me in going out and buying something thats complete - half the fun for me is in the hunting down and collecting in the first place

People definitely get a bit ebay crazy. It's a bit "I've won, I've won."
Congratulations,
You have just won the right to pay over £100 for something that went for less then a 3rd of that, 2 weeks ago.

I got a free CIB Road Rash turn up today thanks to the £5 paypal code posted on here the other day.
Not quite free Aero 2, mind.
