Just finished at £808. Hung around the £300 mark and i quite fancied having a punt at that region. Anyone on here win it?

Absolutley no way - I could never justify that sort of expenditure for what is essentially a piece of paper. Obviously I am in no position to comment on any individuals finances as to why they would consider splashing out so much, but I was out of the running after it went over £50!

A few people got in touch with me asking if that WCS2 looked genuine or not, but none of them won it. £808 seems a lot,but at least I am no longer the owner of the most expensive copy !

Firstly, thanks for this. I was trying to find somewhere to relevantly link my eBay auction without being annoying and spammy.

Anyway, I've just put up for auction a SNES copy of Megaman 7 and it's the fully English PAL cartridge:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110831198852?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1202

I realise it's a collectors item, (especially after I put it up and a various number of people immediately contacted me with their 'offers'), and I've checked it out now.

The auction ends on Friday and thanks again.

Small ebay question (non paying bidder)

Postby HaZ » Thu Mar 01, 2012 11:56 pm

Sold something on ebay at auction, winning bidder from america has failed to pay after 7 days and ignored two pm's so I opened a case. He/she is not responding to that either and I was just wondering as it's coming up to the 4th day, will I still be able to make a second chance offer to one of the people outbid after I close the case for the final sale fee's to be refunded? I don't fancy re-listing it again..

Any help would be appreciated.

It is clearly written in the terms and conditions when you sign up to eBay theat the buyer should contact the seller within three days of winning an item and that payment should be within 10 days. Seems to me that this person has ignored both of those points.

Unfortunatley this happens from time to time, I've been buying and selling videogames on eBay since 1999 and in that time I've had dozens of non-paying bidders. I would be inclined to sell the game (second chance offer or relist) and you've already made your claim to get your listing fees back, so just get this back as soon as and block the "buyer" from bidding on any more of your items. You can still make a second chance offer, if the person accepts then the fees will apply accordingly.
I set my crteria for non-paying bidders low so that anyone who has got two unpaid item strikes in 6 months are automatically blocked from bidding on my items. Its a bit of a sick kick, but it is rather satisfying getting a pleading e-mail from an eBayer who wants to bid on one of your items but cannot because they have been automatically blocked for not paying for someones else's item. Bwa-ha-ha

Also - I'd welcome as part of this thread any fellow eBayers highlighting persistantly non-paying bidders of videogames so I can block them from being able to bid on any of my auctions too - that way some people might get the idea that this behaviour is unacceptable.

Perfectly respectable price there. The condition that the game is described to be in was likely to be relative to the sellers asking price, but I've seen the cart alone sell for £10 in years gone by so I don't think you've done bad there at all

Can't understand why the original Xbox games are so heavily ignored on eBay, in my eyes its the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast and theres tons of good gaming to be had on it.

Just won a CIB Super Monkey Ball Deluxe for 15p!!!

My Xbox collection has quickly took over my DC in pure numbers and probably cost less in total than Rez lol

Followed that up with Metal Gear 2 from the same seller for 1p. :D

Not sure if I should be cheeky enough to ask for combined postage
