He/she is not responding to that either and I was just wondering as it's coming up to the 4th day, will I still be able to make a second chance offer to one of the people outbid after I close the case for the final sale fee's to be refunded? I don't fancy re-listing it again..
Any help would be appreciated.
It is clearly written in the terms and conditions when you sign up to eBay theat the buyer should contact the seller within three days of winning an item and that payment should be within 10 days. Seems to me that this person has ignored both of those points.
Unfortunatley this happens from time to time, I've been buying and selling videogames on eBay since 1999 and in that time I've had dozens of non-paying bidders. I would be inclined to sell the game (second chance offer or relist) and you've already made your claim to get your listing fees back, so just get this back as soon as and block the "buyer" from bidding on any more of your items. You can still make a second chance offer, if the person accepts then the fees will apply accordingly.
I set my crteria for non-paying bidders low so that anyone who has got two unpaid item strikes in 6 months are automatically blocked from bidding on my items. Its a bit of a sick kick, but it is rather satisfying getting a pleading e-mail from an eBayer who wants to bid on one of your items but cannot because they have been automatically blocked for not paying for someones else's item. Bwa-ha-ha
Also - I'd welcome as part of this thread any fellow eBayers highlighting persistantly non-paying bidders of videogames so I can block them from being able to bid on any of my auctions too - that way some people might get the idea that this behaviour is unacceptable.
