Mine turned up today (you beat me to posting it!). Plastic seal was all ripped and cardboard bent. Technically new, but hardly worth keeping sealed.

Argh! Don't you just hate it when that happens? Especially when it's not stated on the listing.

Yep and the usual stock photos don't help. You know somethings wrong when its a stock photo

Exactly! It's a 50/50 chance when it's a stock photo, I'm glad most of the things I need never come up as stock photos. Phew!

Ebay can be a cruel mistress.
Got a 10ft MD controller cable yesterday. Sold as untested, blah-blah-blah.
Of course it does not work.

Boo.

That's just crazy. Especially the "9.5/10" rated box, which has dents, bulges and what looks like crush damage on the top right-hand corner. :D

"all items i sell are my own/family's that i have had from new so i know exactly how they have been used. this was a rare model as i pre ordered one before its release but they sold out completely so the shop quickly specially re-ordered had one expressed in for me, i was told it would be a slightly different colour not the sold out all grey console but that did not bother me at the time i just had to have one. but that would make it that much rarer now !!"

Hilarious!

It's a shame it's not possible to leave comments on item pages, I could entertain myself all day long with some of the porkies people tell on eBay listings.
