Well that's the last stage in Phoenix, you don't need any description, just the sketch is enough  8-)

Hey all,
Wondering if you can help me find a game I have honestly been looking for, for a long long time.
I never actually got to play it, but I saw a few people play the game whilst in a game rental shop.

I will tried to describe what I saw to the best of my ability.

Basically you played a character that could 'morph' into different 'abilities', such as a ghost mode to go through doors / walls

I remember you had to explore the 'world' and there was a large game map that had a fog of war type effect until you actually moved over it.

It was definitely set in some type of house / mansion.

The consoles that were out around that time would have been the Megadrive (Genesis) / MegaCD, MAYBE the saturn but I don't know.

I'm pretty convinced it was a MegaCD game, but I can't confirm that at all.

I must have been about 7 years old when I saw this game, I was too young to play it so I was never allowed to rent it.

If people could just throw names of games for me to check out, that would be so awesome.

Thank you!!!

Searching for an old game but can't remember the name

Postby Colin from Wallan » Fri May 26, 2017 6:28 am

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone maybe able to help me track down the name of a PC game I played in the mid to late 90's.
It was a single shooter game set in Russia pre WW1.
The story line was that there was an evil Tsar who invested in modern warfare to rule the world and the weapons he had were futuristic for there times such as submarines and other weapons of mass destruction.
Your goal as a spire, a bit of an early James Bond so to speak was to bring down the Tsar and his armed forces through sabotage.
It was a great game and I stupidly lent it to a friend which I no long have contact with.
For the life of me I can't remember the name.
If anyone could help it would be very much appreciated.
Cheers to you all.

Hi,

I need help trying to remember this game. It is a free-roaming RPG where the monsters would roam in realtime and it's a game like Final Fantasy. Now, I could of sworn that there was a monster that was either like a head with legs or a brain-like thing that would appear only in one of the caves. I'm thinking that I could be either a Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star or Breath of Fire game.

I just remember watching my brothers playing it on either on (I believe) SNES or SEGA Genesis but I was young and can only remember bits and pieces of it... am I just imagining things or does anyone recall anything remotely similar?

That 1 game you can't remember!

Postby Vray82884 » Fri Jul 07, 2017 8:25 pm

Nagging. I've looked everywhere for this one game. I've gone mad searching through stores, databases, people's closets... It's been unhealthy. If I hadn't nearly pee'd myself from laughter playing this game, in my early childhood obviously, I'd never have become this much of a wreck.
It's just some stupid baseball game where you can use mods and power ups during gameplay. You're standing in the batter's box and a rocket shows up in your power up box. [i]Oh man, this guy is so done[i] is your thought process. The pitch comes, you swing, contact is made (hehe), the short stop goes to make the play, and WOOSH! There he goes to the warning track. The ball carried him all the way there and here is your player with a lead off double. The. Most. Fun. Baseball game ever.

I just have no idea what it was...

Sounds like an SNK type of take on baseball. Arcade right?
It sounds like the sort of thing that ended up on the Neo Geo..

Name of the game?

Postby Retrofixer_upper » Fri Jul 28, 2017 4:33 pm

Okay, so there is this really fun game that I use to play on gameboy color but unfortunately can not seem to remembers it's name. So, basically, the games main theme is robots AND you have to use ions elemental ions to be exact (fire, ice, electricity, etc) to fuel the "bot". Does that sound familiar to anyone of a game on "the color"; I'm pretty positive that's the platform it's on??
