Payment problem.

Postby Tinsair » Mon Feb 13, 2017 3:07 pm

Hello everyone,

I won a Saturn game on eBay and went to pay for it only to be confronted by this message:

"we can't process your payment. please select a different payment method or check your payment details including your billing address."

Nothing has changed on my eBay account or PayPal account since my last transaction, and it's not letting me pay for the game I've won. I've looked online and there doesn't seem to be an answer to this!

Has anyone else experienced this problem atall? And is there anyway to fix this and pay otherwise I'm sure I'll get negative feedback from the seller!

Are you sure PayPal hasn't "accidentally" changed your default payment method to something that's outdated?

No, it all is still the same settings. It's very puzzling.

One possible solution online is to ask the seller to send you an invoice, receive that confirmation through email, and click the link in the email to go pay for the item.

That's exactly what I've just done, hopefully the seller reads their messages, thanks!

*Update*

Before he's responded to my message, I tried numerous times to pay again but still the same problem, then just a moment ago it worked!

Seems like an eBay problem to me and now my message to him looks daft

I had this as a seller before and had to unlink then re-link my Paypal account with ebay. The buyer was then able to pay.

Seems like a bit of a stupid glitch but the fix worked.
