I remember a beating heart being an end of level boss emerging from a wall.

Thats all I have to go by though and it drives me insane

Thanks for the suggestion but Thanatos is for the Commodore 64. I'm 99% sure the game I am looking for is on the Commodore Amiga.

Looking for a fighting game for the PSX I believe it was. The only thing I can remember about it was it being very ... mellow. A woman's voice says very calmly "Player Triumphant" when you beat the opponent or knock them over the edge of the arena. I think it began with an X or a Z but I'm not too sure. And I don't think it was human's that was fighting but rather robots? I don't know!

It isn't Zero Divide incase you see robots and make the connection!

Also a game for system that I dont know what its name was, possibly an Amiga? I really dont know what the system was. It was a very long time ago and my memory was hazy. My dad borrowed it from his work place at the time. I had it around the time when I got the SFC (Very close to the SFC launch I think)
We had it with a flight simulator style of game (Point of view from the cockpit). It was supposed to be the most realistic flying game at the time. It had wire-frame style graphics. We could not get the damn plane to take off. I think we had it for a week tops before my dad gave it back. What was that flight sim game?

that is most likely Flight Simulator 1 for the Apple II, or Flight Simulator 2 for the C-64, both by SubLOGIC

there is a slight chance that it is Flight Simulator 3, which (apparently) was Flight Simulator 2, for the Amiga, though

I remember Flight Simulator 2 being impossible to start, as well

or should I say, I managed to get it started, but I never left the runway, due to the complexity of the controls

i'm looking for a Amiga 500 game i had many many years ago, don't remember the tittle but it was similar to Larry, Monkey Island, like where you would type in what your character would do, it started in a office building, no idea if you ever came out of that building or not, atleast did never come out of it, not sure if it was sierra or another company but it was a point and click game

isnt much to go on i know, but hopefully it rings a bell for someone that can help me

1) Side scrolling beat-em-up with ninjas, there were different colour enemy ninjas. I am quite sure this game was on the Hit Squad range.

2) Side scrolling beat-em-up, it was 2 player and your characters were blokes in jeans and vests and either the first or second level you were on top of a truck (maybe a train).

Hit Squad was mainly Ocean titles re-released on budget price

Have to say that (2) really does sound very Bad dudes,Characters in jeans/vests - fighting on truck.Plus there were 2 'dudes' on the cover - not sure if some versions had a 2 player option.

As for (1) could it be Shadow Warriors?

I concur with the second, Shadow Warriors popped straight into my head. The first though reminds me of Dragon Ninja. There was a train-top fight, which in one release was fatally bugged as you couldn't jump!

There's been a game stuck in my head for over a week now, I'm pretty sure it was on the Spectrum, failing that it may have been on the C16:

A side scrolling shooter in which you flew a white plane (I think it was a plane) and at the end of each level you had to refuel by lining up your craft with another larger craft and try not to hit the ar$e end of it...??

Any ideas??
