Went out for lunch with my family and bf's family for dinner at TGI Fridays (nom nom). We embarrassed him by telling them his birthday was yesterday - if you've ever been there when they know it's someones birthday then you'll know what I mean :P Then we went bowling, where I performed shockingly and certainly didn't win

Now relaxing, watched the end of Titanic and waiting for a friend to come over for more gaming :)

Gonna pick up a NES today with some games. Mario Bros 1-3, Turtles Arcade 1 and 2, Burai Fighter and Mega Man 6 (which apparently was never released in Europe). Everything boxed. Gonna be a fun afternoon as I have to confess I never played the original Super Mario bros titles...

Tried some Schmups, particularily Deathsmiles. Seems I don't suck that hard at Schmups.

Also I'm wandering eBay and craigslist variants. Spotted a Megadrive set, in original packaging, and like 25 games in original packaging. Din't jump on it tough because first, a friend of mine promised me his Megadrive, and secondly the games were all very common ones. Except the one or other uncommon/rare one (according to database), but they don't seem to be too hard to get by.

Perspirating to death. This indian summer may be all well and good, that is, unless you have giant windows that face the sun for the entire day. (red from prepostersously high temperature, not embarrasment)

Also downloading League of Legends. Joined my unniversitires gaming society and all of them (I didn't meet one who didn't) play LoL, so I'll at least give it a go. Looks pretty cool at first glance.

Craiglist offer in Germany or Switzerland? If it's in Germany I might be interested :D

eBay offer from Germany, but it expired yesterday.

eBay Switzerland isn't really that rewarding, very rarely is there something worthwile in regards to retro gaming.
I mainly rely on Craigslist variants for Switzerland. If I don't find anything I head over to eBay Germany. There's usually everything.

I'm often tempted of console + games packages if there are a couple of rare or valuable games, but if its something like a boxed forgotwhatitwas plus a boxed wheel plus 25 games plus 4 boxed controllers, shipping and custom costs usually put me off. ESPECIALLY when shipping and custom costs accumulate to more than what I've paid for the item.

I won an auction for five Mario games for the 64 (Super Mario World, Mairokart, Mario Party 1-3 and Mario Golf, all boxed except Mario World but I have that already boxed), shipping is 33 Euros.

Time for a game of disappearing oil paintings.

I've been out of it for the past week or two, so time to get back to schoolwork! Decided to ditch the life model painting, which is bad I know, but I'm doing a painting of Princess Peach instead. It'll be up for grabs later if anyone's interested.

I had to get up early this morning and go buy some plates to replace some that got broken accidentally.
Found some pretty decent ones for cheapish prices so hopefully they'll last, not the greatest design in the world on them but at least they weren't as thin as most of the ranges they had.

Been at Uni. Had a Microprocessors and Microcontrollers lab. Woohoooo. Went out for lunch. And then went to the shops. Being the big My Chemical Romance I am, I had to buy the Kerrang MCR poster special :D I'm sure my boyfriend will appreciate this very much  Also got a few PS2 games in gamestation in the 5 for £10 deal. The last 3 choices were pretty tough - slim pickin's!! Now to decide - sit and do nothing or tidy the flat - difficult :P
