I just got myself a Hartung Game Master and a Hartung SuperVision so I can certainly understand this. A Gamate would be a nice one to have :)

It's important to recognize that not all Gamate titles are truly bad. Some most definitely are, but others are really not bad at all.

Hey all, my name is Anthony and I am new to these forums. I am a poster over at Retro Gamer forums, my username there is "acharris05". I am a big retro and modern games collector (obviously) and have various systems and games from the C64 to Neo Geo and modern stuff.

Lately I have been into the Neo Geo picking up a AES, then an MVS and supergun and today I picked up a Neo Geo Hyper 64. I am from near Cardiff and regularly visit otakuzoku. Anyway I look forward to posting here and having some disscussions about gaming.

I'm overdue for the intro since I've been posting for a week :D

Thanks to Retrogamer for pointing out the site!

I'm a bit of a casual collector. I've been chasing snes, nes, N64, Saturn and Dreamcast for the last year and I'm starting to get full size cabs as they're the things that really got me into games in the first place. Currently chasing a Rainbow Islands cab and looking forward to learning a lot from the hardcore collectors on this site!

Well Hello !

Cauterize suggested I should introduce myself, so here I go.

Name's Triforce, realname's Fabien. I'm a french gamer in his early 30's and had a sudden rush for nostalgia. After trying to play Zelda's Link to The Past on the Wii Virtual Console and failed (something wrong with the new TV, I don't know), I decided that it would be best for me to try and look for the real thing rather than trying yet another emulator.

So I got a couple of GBA games off a thrift shop, and started playing LTTP on my gf's DS. Even though it's nice, I got (just yesterday) a real Gameboy Advance SP off ebay. I decided to start collecting these games because of the incredible amount of amazing gems this little platform can play.

Regarding my gaming history, I started early with an Atari 2600. I remember at the time, Pitfall was the most amazing thing. Video games and computers were always part of my life, as long as I can remember. And they're always linked to amazing childhood memories. I remember playing Zelda and Bomberman on my friend's SNES, I remember playing Mario on another friend's NES. I remember trying to comunicate with aliens in Captain Blood on the CPC, or challenging my dad over Columns on the Game Gear.

Trying to keep track on my upcoming collection, I stumbled upon retrocollect and was immediately pleased by the general feeling of the community, which seems really nice. Not mentioning the amazing look of the website :)

Anyways, hello everyone, and let's hope I'll be able to contribute ! :)
Currently playing : The Legend of Zelda : A Link to The Past (GBA).

Hello everybody, my name is Paul and I'm from Wickford in Essex. I have been a gamer as long as I can remember and am old enough to remember how cool I thought my mate Lewis was when he got a ZX81 in 3rd year juniors!!

Most of my early memories tend to be centred around games, whether it was visiting my grandparents in Clacton and spending hour upon hour in the arcades or at home on my ZX Spectrum playing Football Manager, Chuckie Egg, Jet Set Willy and then spending all day entering in a game in BASIC from a magazine line by line only to have it not work at the end...

I've been collecting now for about 5 years and if I'm honest in a very scattergun fashion! Have bought bits of everything without really concentrating on any one system. Looking to focus on Sega MD and PS1 over the next year but will always have half an eye on other things :)

Found this site like others through Retro Gamer mag. The timing was spot on as I've recently been cataloging all my old Rave/Jungle/Drum and Bass records on Discogs and wondered if there was something similar for video games. Lo and behold the next Retro Gamer mag I pick up has a spread on this fine site :D

That makes three of us then :P . I tend to lean towards the techno/gabber/speedcore stuff nowadays, but I still listen to some of the older drum n bass and jungle, even the occasional happy hardcore album if the missus is in the car too ;) .

I thought I better post in here to introduce myself. As you've probably guessed from my inventive username, I'm Jonathan.

Only very recently got into the retro collecting scene, but have been playing games as long as I have been able to speak :D

Really enjoying reminiscing and reliving some of my favourite gaming experiences (namely Super Mario Bros 3  )

I'm hoping to find a proper direction for my collecting as currently it's sort of, anything Super Mario related gets bought!

Many of you will know me from elsewhere, so the introductions here can be kept very short :P

Given I've submitted some scans to the cause, then I figured I should sign up the site anyhow...
