Hey guys,
Basically i have a friend in australia and i've bought a amstrad gx4000 on his behalf from ebay. I've been quoted by the post office prices from £84.40 to £50.00 as its over 2kg. Just wondered if anyone knew any tips or tricks to get the weight down or any alternatives you can think of.

When you say quoted do you mean IRL or online? As that looks hefty!? Parcelforce worldwide? You should get it cheaper if you sent it via sea instead of air maybe? Alternatively fill it with Helium.........
