I'm listening to Adrian von Ziegler's "Eternal Ice". It's a gorgeous piece. I absolutely adore all of his Gothic Neoclassical compositions. The melodic nature they have always makes me daydream. Take the time to pause whatever you're listening to and listen to this song, I guarantee you won't regret it.

I could possibly agree with you. Prince is far more talented (regarding instruments); for instance, he produced, composed and performed ALL of the Prince album, that is, played all of the instruments, did all vocals etc. He can play a scary amount of stuff. Prince's career has more low points, but he did more than double the albums so he's bound to turn out some crap.

It's a picture of him dead after his suicide, and this picture was used for an official bootleg album. So yeah, the picture is real. How lovely.

Back onto what we're currently listening to... I'm listening to "Tides" by Tarot. One of my all-time favorite songs.

I don't stop listening to music so expect many posts!

Currently enjoying music from the Persona 3 soundtrack (outstanding JRPG/Dating Sim on the PS2). The game has this incredible mixture of music from Metal-style tracks to Techno and some awesome Jazz stuff. This is one of may favourite pieces from the game, Memories of the School, brings a tear to an old man's eye :cry:

The best music evokes emotion. I really liked it, thanks for sharing. Sometimes simple, somber pieces convey more emotion than melodramatic songs. Interestingly enough, I was listening to a song in a similar vein when I saw your post... I find it beautiful and bittersweet, both joyous and melancholy... until the end when it's celebratory. It's just an emotional piece. Hans Zimmer really is a musical genius.

I want more animated Disney movies like this...

^^ Hoo boy, had to turn the song off as I was going to cry! Such a wonderful song. That film had a great soundtrack. And while we're on Disney soundtracks, the intro music to Beauty and the Beast is something very special to me. Gotta love Disney

I love Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson's "Beauty and the Beast" (the one that plays while the credits roll) is, to me, one of the most beautiful love songs ever. Not to mention Beauty and the Beast is easily one of my favorite Disney movies and in my top five favorite movies of all time. :roll:
