ZX Spectrum Bluetooth Keyboard Reaches Kickstarter Goal

ZX-Spectrum-Bluetooth-Keyboard-Hits-Kickstarter-TargetWith just over two days left to go, the re-imagining and reboot of the ZX Spectrum as a bluetooth keyboard has finally reached its Kickstarter target of £60,000. From here on out Elite Systems look set to have everything in place to give the classic computer its revival, one compatible with modern devices and ZX Spectrum emulators.

Originally announced back on Christmas Eve, Elite Systems launched their Kickstarter which focused on providing a more authentic option to enjoying the classics on the iPad and similar systems. This replica rubber-keyed keyboard would not only be compatible with Elite System's recent ZX Spectrum compilation apps, but will also act as a standalone device for typing up emails, writing documents and anything else your retro gaming lifestyle desires.

Although time is running out, there is still a good couple of days to add a pledge to the project's Kickstarter. £50 seems to be the entry level amount to guarantee yourself one of these fantastic devices, while more generous donations will secure backers signed artwork and much more.

I've backed this since day 1 so very happy to see it hit goal! I was starting to doubt if it would hit it. I'm certainly looking forward to all the extra goodies and artwork pieces :)
