Yoshi's New Island Trailer Announced for Nintendo 2DS & 3DS

Yoshis-New-Island-TrailerFresh from this week's Nintendo Direct presentation comes the announcement of the sequel to one of the most beloved Super Nintendo titles ever made - the wonderful Yoshi's Island.

Yoshi's New Island will release for Nintendo 2DS and 3DS in Spring 2014, and looks to feature much of what made us love the original so much. The colourful papercraft-style returns, and with Takashi Tezuka (a key player in the development of Yoshi's Island) on board fans can rest assured that the sequel is in good hands.

is it only me but the game looks extremely BAD - compared to previous iterations of Yoshi's Island, this one looks like was drawn by a 2 year child, also the character models are uglyyyy

It looks like they made the game then spilled a cup of water over it and now its gone all smudged!

I don't mind the pastel colors - but the graphic design is ugly, It lacks the attention to detail specific to Nintendo, looks like an unpolished product, using the wrong 3dengine.
