RetroCollect will use any excuse to discuss Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles by Yuan Works. With the recent news of the indie puzzle game being made available for a free download, comes as a pleasant surprise leaving gamers no excuse but to try this fantastic homebrew effort.
Over the last few years, Yuan Works have made their game available on the Sega Dreamcast, Gamepark GP2X, Gamepark GP32 and PC. Offering what could be described as the most retro gamer friendly service ever, Yuan Works will also create an in game sprite of yourself (from a supplied photo) which sits in the game as your own custom character.
The newly released free PC version can be downloaded straight from their website. However should you prefer to get your hands on a physical copy, the Sega Dreamcast version can still be purchased from redspotgames for the low cost of 10EUR while stocks last.
