Video Game Themed 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' Homebrew Comes To The Nintendo NES in 'MilioNESy'

Nintendo-NES-Homebrew-MilioNESyWe've all watched those cringeworthy moments on Who Wants To be A Millionaire where contestants fail to answer the most simple video game trivia around, more than often leading many of us to declaring how we'd do better. At long last we have the chance to finally prove our vast gaming knowledge through a new Nintendo NES homebrew challenge.

MilioNESy is the latest creation to hit Nintendo's 8-bit console, created for NESDev's recently held 2014 Coding Competition. This homebrew quiz game follows the same structure as the hit TV show, only instead it replaces every single question with one more familiar to retro gamers.

Within seconds of booting up MilioNESy, you'll be presented with easy questions such as "What is the name of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda" and "Which company created the Battletoads series", shortly before being thrown into the deep end with the likes of "What symbol was associated with the red dinosaur in Adventure Island II" and "What object is Mario holding on the Japanese Famicom box art of Super Mario Bros".

There's plenty of variety in the game's questions, and more than enough on offer here to even host your very own 'millionaire gaming evenings.
